Wig Quality??

Hi!

I am wondering if any of you have gotten an Ariel wig lately from Disney Direct. We got one about 4 years ago and after one wearing it was a tangled mess! My daughter really wants one and is wearing her same Ariel costume from last year so I am tempted to let her get one. I guess even if it's a one time wear it's for a special event.

Any advice / thoughts would be appreciated!

Yep, those wigs do get tangled easily. And unfortunately, can't really be brushed because they are all in "hairdos". I think it's worth getting another one if she plans to wear it for Halloween....much cheaper than getting a whole new outfit for her.

Does anyone know of any on line costume shops which carry good wigs? I'm looking for better quality long braids or "Rapunzel" hair, hopefully on sale.

We just got one for this year and I have to say that it is the same tangled mess. We tried it on her and of course she wanted to play with it so I let her and now it looks terrible. I am not even sure she will wear for Halloween because it does become quite unmanageable.

Thanks for the advice - I hate spending the money on something that is going to get all incky and tangled but it will be worth it to see her smile. At least I know what I am getting myself into.
