Wifi Speed at OKW

We will be spending ten days at OKW starting at the end of next week. Much of the work I do is in the field of healthcare and we frequently do video conferencing on cases and telemedicine over wifi. I have heard that Disney is upgrading the speed on their wifi at their resorts. Has this occurred at OKW? Just looking to see how fast the wifi is. For a few days my family will be at the parks while I am working, and I need to make sure it will be productive.

I'm currently at OKW. Wifi has been spotty at best. I can't remember from previous trips how it was, we have enough data for the kids so it's not an issue.

Based on my current experience and your situation required for work, you might have issues.

I think video conferencing and telemedicine will be difficult. Streaming has been shown to be very slow and spotty.

Regardless of what sort of feedback you receive, I would not consider it reliable for any critical business needs. Dead spots in the network and/or congestion due to high demand can occur at any time.

Bring along a cellular hot spot or similar device if reliable service is needed.

It's easy to test the speed. I use speedtest.net on my computer and the same app on my iPhone or iPad. I often travel with an apple TV though I haven't taken it to Disney. My experience is the same as others, slow and inconsistent though I haven't checked the actual speed.
