Wierd Food Preferences???

I was just wondering what wierd food's you like or wierd things you put on food.

I really like fresh cantalope sliced in half with the seeds taken out then I put salt and pepper on the inside and use a spoon to get get dome shapped pieces out. It is so good like that!!!

Another favorite of mine that weirds everyone out is waffles with peanut butter and syrup with canned salmon on the side. My grandpa used to have it on Friday nights for dinner and still one of my favorite treats. My DH thinks I'm crazy but my DD12 loves the waffles but not the canned salmon part!

I love a good home grown tomato, but it MUST be room temperature. Cold tomato = yuck!

My Dh and I like peanut butter, jelly, and scrambled egg sandwich. It sounds gross but it's really good.

I eat salt on both cantaloupe and watermelon.

I like peanut butter on french toast, pancakes, and waffles. I also like to eat Karo corn syrup on the above when I have it..otherwise, maple syrup.

I used to eat ketchup on my beans.

I like fried potatoes with sauerkraut(German heritage)

I like breaded tenderloins with horseradish.

DH crumbles corn bread in his vegetable soup and puts peanut butter in his chili(this comes from always having peanut butter sandwiches with chili at school)

DD16 has always liked A1 sauce on her mac and cheese.

Yummy.. I do that to. Also love peanut butter and mustard sandwiches... call me crazy but the sweet and tangy goes sooo good together.. and NO i am not pregnant lol

My all time favorite is toasted mini-marshmellows on saltine crackers. My mom always made those for us for a special treat.
I also LOVE anything with goat cheese. Actually, I'm thinking about getting a goat!

Peanut butter and mustard, that brings back memories. We had a family friend who ate those and I can remember having them when I was little. They are pretty good. When I tell folks about that they think I'm nuts. Glad to know I'm not the only one out there with a sophisticated palate!

well...being a gastric bypass patient, i can't have most of my favorites any more, weird or not, but i used to LOVE to eat dill pickle slices on plain potato chips, lol. now i've become kind of addicted to protein shakes (chocolate protein powder in carb coundown milk w/ 6 ice cubes, well blended), which most ppl abhor, lol.
