Wide World of Sports Question

Can anyone tell me what they would think Wide World of Sports typical hours would be in July? Are they open every day or just certain days? Any help you can give is apprecaited.

We're here right now, and most days, WWOS has been open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deal is that they are open if they have events scheduled that day. They have some kind of baseball and volleyball events going on therethis week. We spent an hour or so there yesterday morning at the 'Sports Experience'. We were the only ones there most of the time.....got there around 9:30 a.m. on a Friday morning. Kids thought it was o.k......they probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been so hot. They do have a big tent there and some big fans, but my biggest sports enthusiast, DS-10, got overheated during a 1 on 1 basketball game with a CM and then didn't feel very good for a while. It was included on our 10-day world pass tickets, so it didn't cost us anything, and I'm glad we tried it. I think I would have been disappointed if we'd paid regular admission or had had to use a 'Plus' option to get in (although I'm not even sure if it's a Plus option choice or not.)

Thanks for your advice. We are planning on going there July 4. It is included in our pass to and we just wanted to check it out. How would I find out if they have anything going on that day?

If you're staying on-site, to find out the hours you can watch the Disney Information Channel which lists all of the park hours and events for the day. If you're staying off-site, I guess you'd need to call, but I'm not sure what the number would be. I did notice that the Unofficial Guide recommends that you call Wide World of Sports directly and not rely on information provided by Guest Services at other locations.
