wicked pissa time @Universal(entry#3)

We're up early. I'm so psyched about going to Universal! Karen tells me she's going to "MaoMao's" to get the coffee. Hmmm. "MaoMao's???? Is this a restaurant here at AKL I didn't know about??? Nope. Just Mara's and Karen's warped hearing.....
After coffee from "MaoMao's" I strap on the mulepack,I mean waistpack, fill my socks with Blistershield powder(my tootsies are totally addicted,withdrawal will be painful)and we're off like a new bride's pajamas!!!

We get to Universal and start the long journey to the entrance,and I do mean LONG!! Wasup with that??? It seemed like a day's journey before we actually entered the park!!
Finally,we're in!! We want fastpasses or expresspasses (or as Karen kept calling them,"fastBreak tickets".Poor thing,she's still at
at Budget rental car...). Anyway, I notice right away things are "different" here. I look at Karen and say, "Yo,Minnie,we ain't in Disney no more". No cutesy Disney music here,hardcore rock n'
roll baby!
we head over to ride The Mummy,and its down. So,we decide to go check out MIB. Only 15 minute wait! We're in!! We we're
wicked disappointed in this ride,totally lame. I think Buzz Lightyear is way better. Then we get a Expresspass for the Terminator to come back in an hour which works out great . We run over to Jaws and the line is 25 minutes so we're in! This ride totally stunk!! We love WDW,but now we're REALLY lovin' WDW!!!
Man,WDW's got it all ovah Universal,I swear!!!!!
We're both starvin' so we grab a pizza hopin' its not gonna be as disappointing as the rides. Its good!! Finally,something good!!
We finally get to Terminator not expecting much,atleast its cool. It was so awesome!!!! This is a 3D movie that totally blew us away! We're hopin' we find more rides like this one! And we did. Back to the future was balls-to-the-wall!!!!!! It was so real,I closed my eyes in parts of the ride!!!! Wicked pissa ride!!
Now we're thinkin' maybe we did all the stinky rides first. We decide to go ride twister. We shoulda walked on by! LAME!!!
We had a fun day in spite of the disappointing rides. I'd never go back though. My money goes to WDW.
About this time,I'm hating the mulepack and seriously lookin' to ditch it. I got that "look" from Karen that said don't you dare. But I'm knowin' in my head I'm done with it. Yup. I'll be packin' my pockets tomorrow,I'm carrying this sucka for the last time,swear to ya muthah!
We're both ready to split. Try to find the restroom(not as easy as in WDW) and prepare for the long freekin' journey to the car.
We were so lookin' forward to get back to AKL......and those cold Buds I put on ice,yeah baby!!!!
Tomorrow,DisneyQuest,DTD and a swim in the "peeool " (my new word...)

I LOVE YOUR REPORTS ON YOUR TRIP!!. PLEASE KEEP UP THE HUMOR , YOUR THE BEST STORY TELLER.

I totally agree there is no pixie dust at universal /islands of adventure.

All my money goes to wdw. from the moment you walk into wdw whether its a value resort or deluxe you can feel the pixie dust everywhere. The wdw parks are full of joy and "good chi".

HOWEVER, THE UNIVERSAL EXPERIENCE IS ALWAYS MISSING SOMETHINGS?????????MICKEY????MINNIE???pIXIE DUST ????WHATEVER YOU CALL IT YOU WERE'NT THE ONLY ONE WHO MISSES IT.
