does the Travel Channel show more shows about WDW than the Disney Channel :confused3 ...if Disney has their own channel why don't they promote their parks on it :confused3

Good question.

But I do wish that Great Hotels would show some different Disney resorts, getting tired of the same ones all the time.

It's because the IMO the Disney Channel is now all about their "kiddie" shows and nothing else. I miss when they atleast had vault disney at night. Now, if it's not, Raven, Hannah Montana, Zack and Cody, or whatever it has no place on the Disney Channel. Don't get me wrong, these are cute shows that have good "messages" or whatnot, but why can't there be room for both the new and old?

It makes me sad. :(

Because the Disney channel is a joke compared to what it used to be.

I used to love the Disney Channel and even paid extra for it while I was in college. They used to have a 'Vault Disney' thing every night. They played old movies like "Summer Magic", "That Darn Cat" and other classics. Then they would play the old Mickey Mouse Club from the 50's! What a hoot!
Seriously, they need to have an 'adult' Disney channel for us big kids. They could play the old "Disney Inside Out", Travel Channel/Food Network stuff, and the 'Vault Disney' stuff.

Because unless you're an 11 year old kid, the Disney Channel wants nothing to do with you.

The same reason the "unofficial" WDW sites are SO much more informative and helpful than the bazillion dollar heavily graphic disney.com. :)
