Trying to get prices for GF concierge and I checked the last three weeks of Jan (a supposedly slow period) and it says none are available? Is there some event going on? I checked this yesterday, could they not be released or something yet ( I am talking about 2006, also)
Also, I just read in different post that SL is now full concierge is that true? Which has better views main or SL?
Thanks

They do a lot of conferences during January, and that might be the situation. As far as I know, SL is not full CL.

Are you checking on-line or did you call? The on-line system can be very weird sometimes. If you are defining your search by clicking on the concierge or suites option, try again without it. For whatever reason, sometimes concierge rooms show up on a broad search, but not when you ask for them specifically. Actually just tried to check myself and was able to find availabilty for the end of January. I didn't check off the "interested in concierge box" though.

Anyway, SugarLoaf is indeed full service now. Views range from garden to marina. There are no castle views from SugarLoaf, but there are a few rooms where you can see the fireworks from the balcony. SugarLoaf also has 3 tower lodge rooms available. Both the room types and the room views are available by request only. If you have your heart set on trying to get a castle view, then you want the main building. Otherwise, the rest of the views are very nice from either location.

Disney's website is horrible for checking availability and is completely unreliable. :(
I would check Expedia, although I would not book through them (just don't know anything about them, and always prefer to deal with Disney on the phone) and I would of course, double check what Expedia shows by calling Disney Reservations directly.

I think DIS'er Cris was the first one to report it a few days ago. I'm pretty sure it's on the GF FAQ thread.

tammi, I can't find what you're referring to, but I just looked at expedia (just put in Jan 21-31 for Disney hotels, and every single one of them came back not available! What's up with that? That simply cannot be true! ;)

I went to the Disney World.com website and entered the dates Jan 21-28 and there was availability in the lodge and main building concierge. I just tried again and got an error message stating that they are experiencing technical difficulties. I'd just wait a little while and try again.
