Why was my post moved?

I placed a post on pool temperatures and it was moved. Why? Thanks

I believe this section of the board is devoted to just DVC type questions/posts. Pool temps should probably be asked in the section for resorts or the DVC planning section. (just a guess though)

This forum is specifically for "the mechanics of DVC". How does it work, what does it cost, experiences in buying, etc.

Your question is more in line with the DVC Planning Board forum. This is where all the posts about room locations, bus issues, resort experiences, etc.

At one time, there were not two separate forums. Some people wish it were still that way, others like it this way. At any rate, don't worry about the move! Someone will answer.

Just look for the "Jump Forum" box near the bottom of the page. Click on the arrow - the Planning Forum will be listed right below the Vacaiton Club forumand right above the Rent/Trade Forum.

You can use that box to quickly jump to any of the forums that are available on the DIS. If you want to see a list with a short description of each, you can type in the URL for the main DISboards page -

It was moved because you are from Canada. The Dis figures anyone from freezing Canada shouldn't be too concerned about pool temperatures.
