I agree the point cost for a weekend is more than I am usually willing to pay. On the other hand, if the cost for a weekend is reduced, the cost for weekdays will increase so the points per week will remain constant (assuming points arent redistributed across seasons)
I would rather see the premium put on the weekends rather than increasing the cost for weekdays.
I think the point structure should be in the best interest of the owners and not renters. If the price for weekends were reduced I could see those who rent their points snatching up the weekends like crazy.

I am glad you are happy, but if someone were renting points, (the easiest way for me to equate points and dollars) that's $190 per night for a studio. As much as I love DVC, I think it's somewhat of a stretch to suggest that the studios are worth nearly $200 per night.
