Why so dark?

Just got back from an evening at Epcot. The sidewalk areas outside The Land pavilion were almost dangerous due to the lack of lighting. Several people behind us remarked on it. It’s been that way each time we’ve been there after sunset. What gives? Is this by design or is something broken?
Speaking of broken, the number of rides down at 8:30PM was ridiculous (Rise, Frozen, Living with the Land and one more). Sheesh. I really think people aren’t getting their monies worth. Disney needs to do better.
Ratatouille is always down or you get in line and after waiting 30 min it breaks down. Its a habitual thing at this point.

We noticed the lack of lighting this week as well and thought there was a breaker out. At the 8 pm concert in the UK, there wasn't a single streetlight on around the seating area. Even the band commented about it so it wasn't normal. During the last song, suddenly a few of the 'streetlights' came on around the stage side, but not all of the lights in the area.

We left via the International Gateway at 8:30 pm, and it was pitch dark with none of the streetlights lit between the Epcot exit and until you almost got to the Beach Club. We really did think it was some kind of outage in that specific area.

I have noticed during the past few years how dark it is when exiting the American Pavilion after one of the 8 pm concert performances and trying to walk towards the gateway. I do think they need better lighting after dark.

Disney is just asking for a lawsuit. Get the right opportunist in there to fall, cha-ching!!

If it’s a way to remind us of park closing, shame on them. I already feel cheated by the lack of available times when dealing with the lightning lane nonsense AND the number of rides that go down each day. I can easily take my $$ elsewhere and am seriously considering it.
We went mid January this year and were in MK midweek on a "not" crowded day. LLMP was pretty useless except for the 3 picks we got beforehand. By 1pm, the rides available are ones that have no wait at all. Why pay for something you aren't able to use?

We noticed how dark it was in the parks at night walking around right before the parks close. Disney needs to make it safe but I do believe they are giving the hint to the guests that it's time to leave!

Good luck explaining why you're the only one who fell, while tens of thousands (including the drunks) didn't.

Plenty of lawsuits are filed by opportunist for places like Walmart, Target, ect for BS reasons. Some do get paid. Some do not. There are plenty of ambulance chasers out there. It could very well happen.

I noticed this last year when we went for one day that it was pitch black between the land/the seas and moana: journey of water. Almost like they had removed lighting while doing construction on Moana and didn't reinstall it.
I mean, you can't really experience Moana's beauty without light, right?

Can I get a chee-hoo?
