Why oh why?!?! 9/22-9/29/07 POFQ

I have sat down countless times to begin to write my masterpiece that will become "Disney 2007". Then......the 4 1/2 year old body slams the 18 month old, the dogs take sides and the battle royal begins. Ah, the many joys of being a SAHM!!!!!!!

I digress...This is my first attempt at a trip report. Believe it or not, I just stumbled on the DIS in the last year or so. This after taking at least a dozen trips to the world as an adult and countless ones as a kid. I have drank the Disney koolaid for a long, long time. So...being new at this......please be gentle.

Our last 2 trips were in May 2005, off site -Marriott May 2006 CBR and now planning for POFQ in Sept 07.

We were planning to go in early May of 2007 again. We have real young uns, so this is still an option for us. We loved going in May!! Well, start looking at airfares...in December 2006 and WAY WAY too high. So then we start talking about September for our oldest's birthday...cast of characters to come..... Airfares are much more reasonable!!! 4 direct flights from O'hare for under $800. SOLD!!!!!

Phew....got the airfare down...Going Sept 22-29!!! Now...LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!! But coming first...a quick run down of our cast!!! Stay tuned.....

The house is quiet for the moment! Handy Manny is on Playhouse Disney!

So, as promised, here is the cast of characters for our adventure in September.


Me! 33, SAHM former regional sales manager. OCD about planning and organization! Planning a Disney trip is one of my all time favorite things to do!! Disney and Vegas...I can plan in my sleep!!!

DH 37, VP of a bank, not as into Disney as I am , but pretty much knows he really has no say in the matter. He is the crabby one if he does not get to go on his rides. Known from here on out at GRUMPY.

DD (5) Katie. It is Princess Katie's birthday this trip, so really it is all about her. What she wants to do, where she wants to eat. She is getting lots of input into this trip

DD (18 mo) Brenna. This is her second trip to Disney in her short little life. She was 4 months old last time she was there. She LOVES Mickey!!!! We anticipate waiting in every line to meet him that we see with she. Very excited to see her reactions this year!!!

DB 46, Jim, my brother....lives in Jacksonville, FL now...in the process of moving to Sarasota...even closer to WDW!!! CFO for a hospital group, BIG kid at heart.

DSil 46, Joan, my SIL. Katie calls her Belle, so I guess that makes my bro the Beast?? ;-) Loves all things Disney just like me.
