No rv I’ve seen can sleep ten the most I’ve run across is 8 but that’s if you use the dinette to sleep 2, main bedroom again 2 , sofa bed 2, possibly bunks 2. That’s 8 (uncomfortably) but again 10 on a site leads to extra cars clogging already narrow roads.

It's the fault of the trailer/rv salespeople and marketing material that pushes the "10" number. Or higher. Here's an example:

This vendor lists capacities greater than 10 people (not that FW will up their upper limit number).

Yeah we all know that would be sleeping on any surface in the camper that can be made horizontal and laying shoulder to shoulder. But it can be done.

My 5er will sleep 9. 8 adults comfortably and 1 kid in a bunk, but I also have 2 bedrooms, a king pull out in the living room and a dinette (that actually isn't uncomfortable.)

There is a king in the front bedroom. A queen pullout in the bunk room with the bunk above it. Putting no more than 2 in a bed, that is 9.

The bigger problem is space during the day. I've had 7 in it for a weekend and it gets crowded.

Ten to an RV? which RVs do that? We all know if there are 10 people they have tents too not just in the RV at least most I have seen, and more than 1 car, I see that too. I don't know how many they should do but most campgrounds I go to limit the amount to 6. Especially now with Covid. But I do see if they are your own children, that should be the exception. Why not have 10 dogs too. Not against dogs we brings ours lol.

I had a 2012 Jayco 32BHDS, rated to sleep 11.



Not comfortably mind you. I figure you could've snuck about 6 dogs in there too. 12 if they were small breed.

We have the cheap Sandpiper model ours will only sleep 6, king bed in rear, and two fold out couches up front. That is if you can get Reba to give up a couch.

If that concept gets implemented would Annual Pass holders get a "pass" on that requirement? Besides, I've always considered FW to be a "theme park" all to itself.

My biggest fear is that Disney will take all or some of the FW campsites and fold them into DVC. Having to buy my way into my campsite is not what I want.

I support annual pass holders on this theoretical...which isn’t gonna help much.

rolling them all into DVC would be my exit point. At least based on dvc prices the last time I looked at them. I couldnt find value in it for our family.

Our hybrid is rated to sleep 10 which is laugable. The most we have had in it is our family of 7. We do have three queen beds which can comfortable sleep 2 people each but the dinette and sofa really only sleep one small person each comfortably.

I wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt seen it, all in a class C MH. 3 families all with kids, it literally looked like a clown car at the circus in the AM.

People will do anything for a cheap stay at WDW. I couldn't/wouldn't pack a camper to the extreme to save a buck

All the way from Texas no less. That had to be quite a trip. Gives me the shivers just thinking about all those people jammed in that RV.

I wonder if management just has no clue what to do to expand a campground. They have hotel/resort people and park people galore but a campground is a slightly different animal and would Disney want to hire someone just to expand one campground? At least they knew enough to update the cabins.

I guarantee they have crunched the numbers on profitability and a DVC will gross more to cover the costs of the new lands they built much faster than expanding the Fort, but the Fort will still be profitable as it is 100% booked most of the time and they can charge different pricing through the year than they do in the resorts because those are more evenly spaced out.

Our 40' Coleman bunkhouse trailer sleeps up to 10-12. Five in the bunkhouse (4 beds plus trundle), 2 on the dinette, 2 on the fold out sofa, and 2 in the master bed. We're a family of 6 so it's just right for us, but a friends' family of 4 joined us on one trip during a cold rainy weekend instead of their tent. We made it work.

My husband got it stuck in a ditch one night while trying to make a turn to park. Had to call the RV assistance line to get it pulled out . This was the same trip our friends were with us. A rule is in place to not attempt parking it at night.

We were pulling our 21' Hybrid out of the campground this past weekend and a big 'ol bumper pull came in. Hubby said "I'd sure hate to pull anything longer than ours".

Our goal is to stay under 30' for the remainder of our camping lives because I plan on doing some driving too and I'd hit something I'm sure.

It really doesn't matter how many your camper sleeps, or how many they allow. Fact is, I have rarely seen more than 4 or 5 people on one site. Many times, it's just two. I have never seen 10. Not once. I'm sure people will get on here to share their examples of a bunch of cockroaches crammed into a site.
BUT, that is the exception rather than the rule. In my experience, 4 is a typical number of people I have seen sharing a site.

An excellent rule to live by. One obviously created from experience.
