I know for a while Disney was running a test dinner buffett at El Pirata y el Perico Restaurante in the MK and this seems like a no brainer to me. Imagine this line up: Hook, Smee, Peter Pan and Wendy. The place would be booked solid everynight. Forget it if they ever thought to include Capt. Jack. I mean I can not believe Disney didn't jump alll over this. Anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I would LOVE to see this happen! It would rank right up there (or even surpass) the novelty of eating in the Castle.

I also think it would be a fabulous idea just love the Pirate Theme I would like to see tehm theme a resort after the pirates how cool would that be!pirate:

It's been rumored that there is one going in at the Magic Kingdom. Constuction is under way in Adventureland, maybe where the old Terrace restaurant used to be. :confused3

Heard it was going to be a sit down character meal with a live stage show.
Totuga (sp?) comes to mind...

:tinker: Don't forget Tink. It would be great to see her too at a character meal. This pirate character meal would appeal to both boys and girls. And even better for the ladies if Capt Jack was there.pirate:

I think that's an awesome idea!! It will certainly be packed, I know that I love to go :hippie: It's very strange now that I come to think of it, that with all the success with Pirates of the Caribbean that Disney haven't done it.
Hopefully they will think about it soon!

They need more character meals for boys! The pirate theme would be awesome. My tomboy (DD9) would insist on it. Throw in Captain Jack Sparrow and she and I will be fighting to see who can get his autograph first! A pirate character meal? It's a no-brainer. I'm there. Every visit.pirate:

Since there is a great pirate themed dinner on the cruiseline, I wonder if Disney doesn't want to add another...just a thought. I would love to see a resort added with that theme. Out here on the West Coast the DL hotel has a fun Peter Pan themed pool...Florida has more room and could really do it up! Let's hope!

I would love to see this. I'd actually like to see anything themed for boys. When Hollywood and Vine was first being developed as a character one, originally rumors were that it was Toy Story. My son is outgrowing the Pooh breakfast and the regular characters and I;d love to see pirates.

As DD would say "That would be fableeous!" pirate: :tinker:

Now that's one character meal my boys, ages 11 and 13 would be all about! pirate:
