It took a few days, but eventually I worked up the nerves to ask her out and on Feb 17 we had our first date. We went to Applebee's for dessert after I got off from work, then to a local bar for a drink...we hit it off really well. We talked the whole time, getting to know each other and having a great time. We ended up shutting down the bar then sitting in my car at the applebee's just talking and listening to Franks Place on my XM radio until it started snowing at 4am...it was absolutely perfect! I was hooked.

The next week we went out 3 times and the next week 4. Eventually we were seeing each other almost every day, and we evnetually made it official and exclusive. As for details....she's cute as a button! She loves all things Disney Loves movies. Loves to read (she was an English major, graduated this past Saturday). Very family oriented. Laid back. Sweet. Kind hearted. Open minded. Funny. And that smile...jeesh! She's outstanding!

We've grown quite close, become not just boyfriend/girlfriend, but good, close friends in the process. We spend our time watching movies, hanging out with friends, spending time with our families...both sides seemingly approve of the relationship too, which is important for both of us. I know its only been 3 months, but she certainly feels like the one. We'll see how it works out, but we've talked about it. We both have very strong feelings for each other, but we also know that things have to play out. We'll see how things go...I'm sure I'll be seeking advice from my DISfriends as we go along. So be prepared to offer suggestions.

Josh!!! I'm so happy for you! I know exactly what you're feeling. Myself and Marc (my geeky DBf). We started watching movies together; we had so much in common... computer geeky, similar taste in movies, talked about everything in the universe...never a lull in the conversation, etc. We grew close VERY quickly and we've been together for over 4 years..

I have a good feeling about you two! Especially if Disney is involved!


Now for a serious question:
Where have all the good movies gone to?!?!

I think the only good movie i've seen lately is Cars
