Why Jo Jo??

Are phineas and ferb on playhouse disney? My DD is only 3 so we aren't into that show but I was thinking that it came on after the 'playhouse' shows. I say add Ooh and Aah. As long as they are the hosts of playhouse disney, they wouldn't have to worry about changing the buffet. My DD LOVED this character experience last year. We will be doing this a week from Sunday again. Even though JoJo doesn't come on anymore, she still loves the Einsteins!

Here in Canada, Phineus and Ferb is not on Playhouse Disney, and thank goodness! I don't feel that show is appropriate for so many reasons - I'm having a hard time letting my 6.5 year old watch it once in awhile. Good sibling relationship and working together, but much adult inuendo, adult level jokes, etc. I would not go to a character meal with these characters, but I know many probably would.

Happy eating, Tiger :)

We went when DD was 18 months and it was our favorite meal because she had a blast dancing with the characters. Jo Jo is on for the little 5 min segments between Playhouse Disney in the morning here in NJ. Jo Jo actually brought my daughter out to play while DH and I were finishing up dinner. She LOVED it....although I'm not quite sure she knew who they were. She FREAKED out seeing June. Until then she was scared of the characters...she saw June and ran up to her.

In spite of all this, YES they need to change the characters!!! Oohh and Ahhh would make this a daily meal during our vacation. Oso would be unreal!!! And Handy Manny would not let us leave....my daughter have to be dragged out! :) Basically ANYONE on the Playhouse Disney lineup would be even better! :)

I do have this booked though a few times for our March trip...it was wayyy cute to see my little girl jam out with the characters! And it was nice for her to get up every so often rather than wait for the characters to come to her. The dance parts really help give Mom and Dad a break....I was still with her as she was so young, but next time I may just watch her.

Can you imagine the demand if they made it Phineas, Ferb, and Candace?

That would be awesome! We won't go now with JoJo, but we'd have to go for Phineas and Ferb (or "Fin and Ferb" as my kids call them)

JoJo no longer does meets out of DHS. And yes, its time for JoJo to go. Perhaps a Handy Manny character breakfast would best

Initially, this was to be Pixar characters (notably Buzz and Woody) in an attempt to make a more boy-centric character meal, but when Disney bought Pixar the Pixar people didn't want their characters in a meal setting feeling it would some how be degrading

I agree with everyone else of course...JoJo has to go. She was great in her day but my oldest(of 4 kids) is the only one who even knows who she is. I think it's so strange since Disney loves to make $$$$ and with all the product lines out surrounding the Playhouse Disney characters it only makes sense to see them in the parks and restaurants more. I would love to see Manny, which they already have the costumes for by the way, and OSO. I want them to keep the Einsteins though. I think they are still relevant and I like that show. Plus my 2 yr old LOVES LOVES LOVES them. We are going to do the lunch in May to see them.

I'm still waiting for them to bring back the best PlayHouse Disney show of all time "Bear in the Big Blue House".

Oso and Handy Manny would be so awesome! I think it would be wise to go ahead and do something with the Chuggington trains too, even though that show hasn't premiered yet. My son goes crazy over the commercials already! Wouldn't it make sense to promote new brands?

We/DD had a blast at H&V in dec!!! she is a huge little einstein fan, but i would to se jojo go!! we had no idea who she was OSO or Manny would be fabulous

I don't have an answer but this seems to be a consistent complaint about WDW they are too slow to change especially when it comes to new characters and utilizing them appropriately. Even in the Playhouse Disney show it took them years to change the Rollie Pollie Ollie and Stanley for years after they were off the air.

They would clean up with a Toy Story/Secret Agent Oso/etc.. character meals. Everything is so geared toward girls and the princesses that most families (who have boys) would also choose a "boys" meal for their sons. These characters have cross over appeal and could include Bo Peep, Jessie, etc...

:)

I would love for this to happen. We don't go to H&V for breakfast because of their characters. (have eaten dinner there and blech! but we would definitely try the breakfast with different characters)

We ate there in October and DS had no clue who JoJo and Goliath were. He kept eating when JoJo came over but was a little more excited when Goliath came over just because he got to hug a lion!

DD, on the other hand, is old enough to remember JoJo. She had a HUGE smile for JoJo and gave her the biggest hug when she came over to our table. She even teared up when JoJo walked away and kept saying "thank you" to DH and I for bringing her there to meet JoJo! She kept saying it was her favorite meal of our whole trip just because she finally got to meet JoJo. So personally, I'm glad JoJo is still at H&V!

Of course, now that DD has finally met JoJo, I think we'd all be THRILLED to go back if Phineas and Ferb were there!!!

We have Chuggington here in Canada, and my DD6.5 and my DS2.5 both like it a lot - cute show!!

Tiger :)

I'm still waiting for them to bring back the best PlayHouse Disney show of all time "Bear in the Big Blue House".

I am so with you there!! Only my 9 year old knows who Bear is! that show was totally great.
but as for JoJo, they don't even run the "feeling good with JoJo" segments any more, it was a cute show, but my younger two don't know who JoJo are, just my 9 and 6 year old. Manny, OSO, Keep the Einsteins because kids still love them. Ooh and Ahh would be funny, truthfully though, my younger two LOVE Charlie and Lola, even more so my 3 year old then some of the other shows. Einsteins, and C&L are on constant on-demand requests from her, my 4 year old loves Manny and Shaun the Sheep (ya yah, I know, not a real 'show' but it's still funny.)

I would like to see Phineas and Ferb as well, but not at a character breakfast that is Playhouse Disney, and as my husband said, they should only be there during the summer months. when we watched the parade all 4 of my kids went nuts when P and F showed up.

I vote for an incredibles, toy Story and Oso meals!! We would be at all of them! Here's to dreaming/wishing!!:wizard:

The theme came about because there was a push a few years ago to install more things at WDW that would be geared toward preschoolers. For awhile they even had a special summertime program with theater shows for preschoolers. That didn't last. It takes them forever to change the character meals though. Personally I think it was kind of limiting to devote an entire character meal to preschool children so I'd hope they replace it, when they do, with something that appeals to different age groups.

If they ever put a Toy Story meal in there it would probably fill up every day no matter how bad the food is.
