Why is your favorite resort your favorite resort?

I love those two resorts because of the theming. They feel so exotic. Waterfalls, flora, animals, native art, Ohana, Boma...

We own @SSR which is a nice resort but we have Fallen In Love with BWV for so many reason including location location location...will be adding on there soon

I voted ameneties. VB ands AKV are my favorite resorts because of the beach(VB), recreation activities, and the animals - view is really a deal maker/breaker for me.


We've stayed at every DVC at least once now - and I love being able to try different experiences. I'd get bored staying at the same resort every trip.

OK, I answered this wrong.

I quickly asked DH the poll and he said resort ammenities because he likes hanging out on the boardwalk and the view.

I think we should have chosen room.

I chose "resort" because when I walk into the AKV lobby and even outside to the overlook area, my breath is just taken away. I love everything about it - it is just a special feeling I get there. I love the rooms there, too.

That being said, I love every other DVC resort I've stayed at and visited, so far (OKW, VWL, SSR)

I voted location because my favorite is our Boardwalk home and I love being so close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Having said that however the other reason we love Boardwalk is the decor of the rooms and the overall feel of the resort.

I voted for Resort but I could really have chosen Location. My home is the BWV and I love Epcot. But the resort reminds my of the east cost growing up and visiting my grandparents.

I am trying to stay at all the resorts (DVC and non) and each time I find myself comparing it to the BWV. I know you can' do that but I love the BWV so much that I find myself always booking my vacations there.

My favorite: BWV for Location, Location, Location

BWV fits our goal of being the closest timeshare to the Dolphin, Swan and Yacht Club conference facilities for an annual work-related event. It is a tough week with meetings starting 6:30a running well past bedtime most evenings. We'll walk 5-7 miles each day between conference sessions, labs, dining and showroom -- having a room nearby is a must!

I picked location because I like being able to stroll to Epcot, my favorite park, and DHS. But it was hard to chose one category. We love the BWV with the boardwalk view rooms. And the resort itself has a lot to offer, scary clown pool and all.

I am having a hard time narrowing down my number one reason on why I love the BWV.

Love the rooms love the views love the points savings love the location love the pool love everything but the valet.

I picked resort, though it's more than that. Our favorite is AKV for the beauty of the resort, the theming, the smell, the music, the animals, the restaurants, and the soothing quiet there.

BWV for location.

We love being able to walk to both Hollywood studios and Epcot--we're able to go to a park on both arrival and departure days as we're not dependent upon buses.

We love the boardwalk atmosphere. Love walking the boardwalk. Love the free entertainment. Love Jellyrolls...although we only get to go there when we're traveling with others who will watch our kids 1 night.

Other reasons we love Boardwalk:
--Clown pool--I love the waterslide there--I find it the right level of excitement for me, love the rollercoaster theming of it and since I hate tube slides (claustrophobia), this is a great slide for me.
--Community hall--kids love going there and the fact that it's right by the 'quiet' pool lets us enjoy the quiet pool as well.
--Theming--makes us happy!

We've enjoyed trying other resorts, but Boardwalk is the one that makes us say, 'ah, home!' We'll be at Boardwalk in both April and November...can't wait!
