No, dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is produced in any combustion reaction. And the Speedway....that smell is fake??? Seriously?? I hate that ride, but rest of my family loves it.

Well now, of course, I can't find my source, so don't quote me on that. It stuck with me because I couldn't imagine that they would deliberately add the smell. But if they are really gas-powered, then the exhaust is likely real.

I did find the ride charming but the last scene blew it for me. I felt like I was in the 80s again watching Back to the Future

I think my DH downloaded the song on everyone's iPod because it just keeps playing over and over again...lol

I'll take back my request and just ask they update the last scene....

If they ever touched Carousel of Progress my 4-year-old would be devastated, it was her *favorite* ride in any of the parks this year LOL! She is still singing the song 8 months later...

Stitch and EO both need to go, like yesterday. I would have much rather they gutted one of those to include a Frozen theme ride than change Maelstrom. (But I also see how Norway was a logical choice... I just don't think it was really necessary. Maelstrom was a perfectly good ride despite the outrageously boring movie at the end.)

It was a horrible attraction when it first opened.
Then Disney brought it back
And it is still there after all the scandals.

Unless Universal has a Bill Cosby attraction, it's the worst attraction in Orlando.

Ahha! So Walt's ride has touched your family in a positive way. Since your husband has the song, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" playing in the houshold, the reading and essay is no longer required.

But Stitch's Great Escape and Captain EO? The creative and industrial talents at Walt Disney World are unable to replace these by the end of the week? Why?
