Why is the first week of Dec so crowded?

Unless you WANT BCV in December I'd keep checking on that third night to make it OKW. I'm a big fan of changing hotels but not on a three night stay. I don't sleep well in any new room until the second night.

I agree, but I'm thrilled that I at least have a place to sleep!

I'm assuming that even though the first two are in OKW... they're not neccessarily in the same room, so I might be moving anyway.

I do plan on trying to change it, one obstacle at a time!

No resort wants to check you in and out and have to clean 2 separate rooms when you're there for 2 nights. Night 2 should have been added on to the first reservation for Night 1, or (at the least), linked to the first reservation. Just check on it to be sure.

If you can't secure all nights at the same resort ..... and keep checking for ANY of the resorts when you call ...... you can save Epcot for the end of your trip and just walk over to BCV from the International Gateway and check in whenever you'd like. OKW will move your luggage for you, or you could take a cab. It's so convenient to stay at BCV or BWV and have Epcot so close. And MGM and the Osborne lights are just a boatride away! I'm envious.

In October we were supposed to change from BVC to SSR mid way through. When we got to BVC we told them that, they checked their availabilty and there was a room. One call to DVC and no change was neccessary. Just a thought. You might want to try that if you can't get a room before you leave home.

YAY Eric! Congrats! I'm pretty sure you can get all three nights at OKW if you'd like. And I'm sure the front desk will link the two OKW reservations so that you don't have to move (if MS hasn't already).

the first week of Dec. is also the POP Warner football/cheerleading championships and they have quite a crowd.
