Why is Pollo Campero/Bodie's All American closing at DTD?

I see that Pollo Campero/Bodie's All American restaurant is closing on 3/19 at DTD.

Anyone know why and what is replacing it?

I think it's just part of the Disney Springs renovations and if I'm not mistaken part of the World of Disney expansion project.

I don't mind them leaving personally, I never thought they were a good fit.

The building is being demolished as part of the Disney Springs expansion.

They're most likely going to expand World of Disney into that area.

I like the burgers at Bodie's. I was planning on trying Pollo Campero on my next trip. I guess that plan is out.

Well....that was short-lived. Guess the pollo will need to find another campero to hang its hat. I hear the hermanos may have an opening for a pollo or two.

I'm more concerned about Babycakes which was located inside Pollo. I hope they find an area to relocate. It is the best allergy friendly bakery we've found on vacation and always make at least one trip per vacation to stock up.

Word is they will not have a new location but will provide products to some Disney shops and food courts.
