that you never have the video camera ready when you need it????? 
We went to Dollywood Friday and I must say it was a very nice day in the park. Not crowded at all....walked right on all rides and stayed on 2/3/4 times anytime we wanted to.
Now to the video camera story.......the first thing we did was ride the train, left the video camera in the storage basket of the stroller while riding the train, stroller is parked in the stroller parking area. Well when you get off the train there is a magic show starting right as you exit (tries to draw a crowd from the people exiting the train). There were about 15 people in the audience so we decide to sit down and watch (thought about going down & getting the stroller, then though no, we'll just get it when we are done) we were the closet to the stage, sitting on the 3rd row. Magician said "Gee I feel all alone, why is everybody sitting way back there so DS who is 8 decides he'll go sit on the front. Magician asks him if he gets mad easy or his feelings hurt easy and DS says no. So magician says, "I want you to meet my pet raccoon Rascal" and proceeds to get out a fuzzy stuffed animal which actually has a spring in it that makes the animal move in almost a life like manner. Well Rascal runs up his arm and jumps straight at DS.....that didn't even phase him, he just hands it back. Magician says tell the nice boy thank you Rascal and turns Rascal toward DS......and Rascal pees on DS (water squirted by magician). Anyway.....magician gets DS several times with various other water squirters as he is the only one on the front rows. Did many other tricks, had DS come up and help with a floating dollar trick, etc. Now here is where I wish I would have been filming all this (remember DS has already been squired at least 5 times). Magician is looking off to the other side of audience as he pulls out a gun........as soon as DS sees the gun he stands up and starts sneaking out of the seating area to hide behind a tree
I was laughing so hard I was crying. It looked like it was staged to be that way, DS is a real comedian, prankster too and you just had to see how he was sneaking. Magician notices him and yells "hey where are you going" and proceeds to try and shoot him with potato.......it wasn't a water gun but a potato gun.
It was so funny and I wish I could have gotten it on tape.

I know what you mean about not having your camera, have said it myself numerous times over the years.
