That the first 5 years of my child's life flew by in the blink of an eye, but the years 13 - 18 just seem to drag on & on & on? :confused3

It didn't seem that way to me. It seems like only yesterday, she was a baby.

I'm not sure but I'm not there yet...my oldes ds is going to 12 this spring and i think every year just goes by faster than the year before! :guilty:

With DD12, soon to be 13, I felt the elementary grades dragged, but so far middle school has flown by. I thought last year really went quickly, and now we are already at Halloween, and I'm not event tired of packing lunches yet!!!! Halloween and Thanksgiving are so close together, and then Christmas is so soon after that, that I really feel like this first semester will be over in a flash!!!

I think high school was my favorite with DD18, so I'm looking forward to getting the middle school years done (finally!) and having a high schooler again. Hope I don't regret those words!!!

:lmao: Oh ignore me. I think I'm just having a rough night. I have one in high school, one in middle school & one in kindergarten. I think the huggy, kissy, cuddling years just don't seem to last nar as long as the grouchy, foot stomping years. :rotfl: Hopefully by morning she'll be back to normal. :)

I have 2 in hs and 2 in ms, 3 of whom are girls...and yes someday's it feels like 24 hours is more like 3 weeks! DS is not so bad though. Someday's I actually contemplate removing every door in the house, including the front door!

Have you been at our house the last few weeks? :teeth:

I have a 12/13 yo and 15 DD. Each day one is having a meltdown over something.

I said to myself last night while 15 yo was rambling
" hopefully 2 more years, 2 more years"

:lmao: My morning is playing referee to my 10 & 15yodd's...They need more SLEEP!!!!

My oldest dd had a FOOTBALL GAME ON A THURSDAY...she is in M. Band and got home at 11:00pmish.
Sat she has to get up and go do a competition at 6AM!

My youngest has had too many activites and too much homework.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving break!!!!

:rotfl: I totally feel your pain. I have one who finally got through those years just in time for his younger sister to step up to the plate. She's not as difficult as he was (yet!) There are days when I can't do anything right and the mere fact that i am breathing reminds them of my constant dorkiness. :confused3 *sigh*
