Why is it so hard to join Disneymooners???

Why is it so hard to join the disneymoon boards? It takes like a year lol. What are they hidding over there???

I thought the exact same thing! When I was finally "accepted" I found out, disboards has more frequent updates, which I like a lot more!

and don't ever try and leave!!! haha i was a mooner and then i left after my wedding for a bit to adopt dd and then i got pregnant with DS and when i tried to get back in, i couldn't

As a member I know that when you apply for membership you will receive a questionaire asking about your wedding. You just fill it out as best as you can (being vague probably isn't the best thing to do...but I could be wrong) and email it back. If you don't hear anything you could always drop the moderators a line asking about it.

BTW, it really is a good group.

yes I went to the right site. I actually just got accepted. There are like 3 steps to be being accepted lol and I am finally able to see the forums. When I was going through the process I was like 'WTH" lol. I had found that other site too. Then I did a search for Disneymooners because I realized that wasn;t a forum. Thanks!!

Disneymooners are another forum that is only about Disney weddings And honeymoons. You have to be planning a wedding at Disney or have had one to get accepted. www.disneymooner.com

You should re-apply!

They are a great group and "will let you back in" if they realize you are a past DM'er.

I like they they keep vendors are wedding professionals out of the forum. That way the girls can really speak their minds, and they share very personal information, like their actual budgets, etc.

I had all kinds of trouble getting back in to the Disneymooners site. I reapplied no problem but my computer kept giving me problems and I was never able to use the site. It was fantastic and helped me so much in my wedding planning.

Michelle I remember your wedding, we were hoping to meet up with you but the hurricane kept us from getting to Disney. We talked about NASCAR and your first trip to the races.

I also tried to get in, but because I don't have a coordinator yet, they wouldnl't let me join My sis is also getting married at Disney and is a member but they still won't "let me in" until i give them a NAME! Now we've moved the wedding back to 11/07 so i don't figure i'll ever be let in! LOL

I think it was worth it. There is alot of info as it is only about Disney weddings so that is a plus. One of the down sides is that it doesn't seem to be as active of a board as the DIS. I was surprised to see so many DISers on there by recognizing their pictures in their signitures!!!!
