"Why is everybody wearing plastic jackets?!" June 2013 TR NEW X3 1/21 COMPLETED

I love watching wishes but not from WDW, to many people. I like seeing them from the top of Bay Lake Tower.

I have never seen the electric parade but of course I have heard of it. Thanks for the pics I really loved seeing it. :rotfl:

I dont want that! Thats embarrassing! Day 3 (Part 1)

Saturday, June 15, 2013

We woke up bright and early at 7 AM. Now some of you must be reading along and thinking, wow she thinks shes been waking up early? Im that kid who woke up at 7:45 to get to school at 8:00, I like my sleep... I digress.

We woke up, reminded Jessica where we were, got her dressed and ready to go and we were out the door by 7:40.

We were headed to Disneys Hollywood Studio (MGM to those of us who are stuck in the past, its okay if you are, I am too) for Extra Magic Hours. We arrived right about 8:05 am and got in line.

Once we made it through the crowd I took the tickets and preformed an amazing display of speed-walking all the way to Pixar Place. I bet you know what I was getting.

(note: I took this picture while I was in line for what I wanted so desperately.)

TOY STORY MANIA FAST PASSES!!

Youre so smart! ;)

While waiting in to grab our beautiful fastpasses the woman in front of me and I were explaining to the man behind us pretty much everything about Disney. It was the first day of his familys first Disney trip. Ever.

He was very appreciative be we were more than happy to share our knowledge.

Once I had my fastpasses in hand, I regrouped with the gang to find Jessica in a stroller.

Jessica didnt like the stroller because it was embarrassing but I mean hey I wish someone would push me around Disney World in a stroller, thatd be awesome!

We explained to Jessica that being in a stroller wasnt a punishment or a bad thing but it was so she wouldnt get tired so fast. She kind of got it but still didnt really like the idea of being in the stroller.

Since we were in Pixar Place and had nothing to do we decided wed hop in line for Toy Story Mania now because the line was about 40 minutes and it was bound to be much longer later in the day.

What do I gotta do to make you people laugh? Pull off my ear? He did, it was funny, I laughed.

Mom and I rode together, I got a 111,800 and Mom got a 59,400. The line took about 45 minutes.

We decided that wed get in line to meet Buzz and Woody since we were already here and the line didnt look too, too long.

So we hopped in line and we waited.

And waited&

And twenty minutes later we were here:

And by this time Jill and Jessica had ditched us because Jessica didnt want to wait in line. Then our pals Buzz and Woody left& It taken a very long time to get to the other side of the wall and with our pals leaving we decided to leave too.

We headed over to my over to my favorite.. STARRING ROLLS

We all got a little something for breakfast, Jessica wasnt in the greatest of moods so we said she could pick whatever she wanted and she chose this heavenly looking thing.

It was very good!

hmmmmm!

Jessica wasnt the biggest fan of this cupcake besides the strawberry and a few nibbles of the cupcake so one of us went an got her something a little more breakfasty.

Why so grumpy?

Thats more like it!

I had a croissant, Jill had a cinnamon roll, Mom and Dad had muffins.

We ate our delicious food and headed out. Where to? Nobody knows!

Im just kidding, I totally know.

Next Up: An out of this world adventure!

Aw you stood in line all that time and never got to see Buzz and Woody. Great pictures, where they from your phone or camera?

Haha, I like my sleep too. But getting up while in Disney just seems so... easy.

Yup... MGM over here! Yup Yup. ::yes::

That's so comical that Jessica thought the stroller was "embarrassing". I wouldn't mind being pushed around myself.

That almost happened with us on our honeymoon! I'm a HUGE Eeyore fan and we were at HS and saw Eeyore and Tigger. I HAD to have a picture with them and DH forced me to get in line. This was the second time we had got in line to get a picture with Eeyore. The first time they cut the line off and we were the back half of the line that didn't get to meet them. This time, the people RIGHT behind us got cut off. I was so happy that we made the cut! We were able to get this picture!

A 45 minute wait for TSM is not bad at all! We have only ever got to ride it once per trip because either the fastpasses are out or the line is way too long.

I can't wait to read more!! :) I love your family.

Great Update Grace! I love Jessica in that dress!

Thanks!

It is much easier to get up in Disney! I know I was telling Jessica that I would ride around in the stroller if she wasn't going to!

All caught up! Loving it so far... More please! :woohoo:

Glad you're enjoying it! More soon!

The posters they have in PhilharMagic are pretty cool.

Love the letters and “Ride Challenges” Such a cute idea!

Cute Photopass pictures.

Oh So Many New Friends! Day 3 (Part 2)

After filling our rumbly tummies with delicious treats, we headed to our next destination…

STAR TOURSSSSSS

We’re big Star Wars fans, at least Dad and I are. This was the first time for all of us riding this ride since the refurbishment.

We were in the first row and I was in the second seat from the exit. I don’t normally get motion sickness but this ride, or sequence at least, made me a little nauseous. Maybe it was the glasses, or the angle but it was a little much for me.

I did enjoy it though and I really liked the upgrade but I’ll always love the old version as well.

After Star Tours we decided to head over to Muppets 3D, we knew Jessica would just love this. And she did!

We all loved this and it was a nice little escape from the heat.

When we exited Muppets, we noticed Phineas and Ferb to the left with NO LINE!

Now you all don’t know this but I am one of the biggest P&F fans there is. I absolutely love them!

We were in line behind a family from England and we were talking about how awesome Phineas and Ferb are and the dad asked if I heard about the P&F/Avengers movie coming out. I hadn’t! He told me all about it. Which just made me that more excited!

I loved this whole meet and greet area, especially the music from the Summer Belongs To You episodes and the Rollercoaster! The Musical episode. It was just the best meet and greet area ever!

After we said goodbye to everyone’s favorite step brothers, we noticed everyone’s favorite racecar and tow truck and headed over that way. Again no-line.

By now it was time to cash in our TSM fastpasses, so we grabbed our stroller and headed back to Pixar Place for another go. We were on the later end of our FP time so we ran right into line.

Ready to go!

Mom and I rode together again. My controller was most definitely broken, I was struggling a lot to make it shot, which was a bummer but we still had fun!

I got a 104,500 and Mom got 106,200.

After our spin on TSM, we decided to head over to Disney Jr. Live Show. Two thumbs up for 20 minutes in A/C!

I’m not gonna lie, I love this show. We watch a lot of Jake and Doc in our house and I love those shows. Jessica was so happy with this show! Oh my goodness! She loved it!

After the show let out we noticed Jake was meeting. We hopped in line. He didn’t have a PhotoPass photographer which was kind of a bummer but we got some good shots regardless.

She hopped away a very happy five year old.

We decided that we’d head into meet our favorite wrecker.

Jessica was doing one of those color stations on the computer and Dad and I were going to hop in line to meet the Incredibles but Mom noticed the time and we had somewhere to be at 12:15 and we need to get a move on!

Where will we eat? Lunch with the cousins or lunch and a movie?

Continued in Next Post

Sadly I think TSM might need some TLC. But I can't imagine taking it offline long enough to it since it's just so popular. It's a tough call for sure.

Oh my goodness you can really see how big Ralph really is when he's next to a 5 year old. Jessica pretty much disappeared!!

I love Star Tours. Its my favorite Hollywood studios ride.

I have not seen disney jr live since 2009. I really want to go see it again now.
