Night Time Magic! Day 2 (Part 4)

After we woke the princess, we headed out to the bus stop.


I braided Jessica’s hair and put in a bow

A golden chariot arrived shortly and before we had arrived at our destination. We made it through bag check and everything with no problem at all. Before we knew it we saw this.


Ah beautiful!

A night at the Magic Kingdom, how magical!

We stopped briefly on Main Street to take some PhotoPass pictures. Our photographer’s name was Jill and she was from Sunrise, FL and she was awesome! She told us where we could do all of the different Magic Shots throughout the park.





We continued our journey down Main Street and stopped at Walt and Mickey to take a few pictures.

When I went on my first trip to Disney World I took this picture:



So I decided to take it again!





We decided we were hungry so we headed straight over to Peco Bill’s to grab some grub. Peco Bill's is the bomb-dot-com for those of you who haven't eaten there before.


I got the veggie burger.

My goodness I love those fries!


Jessica’s plate: Turkey sandwich with grapes & carrots.


Dad’s half eaten plate: Pulled Pork/Steak Combo but the steak had already been eaten.. my bad.


Mom and Jill got build your own taco bowls, they really enjoyed them.

We finished eating and decided to head out.

Spotted: Rapunzel’s Tower


We decided we to head over to Big Thunder Mountain and grab some fastpasses and then go to Haunted Mansion



Let us note this was a bad, bad idea. Not as bad as It’s Tough To Be A Bug but still pretty bad. It seemed like we were going to make it through it with out any tears.

We had the “it’s not real” talk, then the “why would we take you somewhere unsafe” talk but nothing could put off the tears. When we were in the first room that I love so much, mini meltdown. Then when we were on the ride she had another meltdown.

Ugh, that was bad.

After the water works stopped, we decided we’d head over to Big Thunder Mountain and use up our fastpasses.



Jessica loved this ride. There was a little girl in front of us who was riding with her dad. Jessica and her became friends in the minute that we sat before getting off the ride.

Once we got off BTM it was getting close to parade time, so Jill, Dad, and Jessica went to stake out a stop while Mom and I headed over to Sleepy Hollow.



We were on a hunt for a particular dessert that we had read about on the Disboards but we didn’t know exactly where to find it so I described it to a CM and she said “OH! They sell those over a Sleepy Hollow!!!” and we headed on over.

We got these heavenly treats



Oh my goodness! These are amazing. Nutella and fruit sandwich! Goodness gracious so delicious.

With our snacks in hand we headed back over to Main Street to rejoin the gang.

We got a spot right outside of Casey’s.



We sat and waited for 9:00 to roll around. We decided to get Jessica a special something. Some cool Mickey ears.




Just waiting.

There was some debacle about a man who came over at about five minutes before the parade started who weaseled his way in and stuck his kid and himself right in front of people who had been sitting their longer than us. I don’t care that much about people who do that but it is a little rude, don’t just come over and try to push your way in. It’s just uncool. I digress.

Ugh, what that man did just makes me It is a lot rude. Entitled people. The sad thing is, a lot of times people will let the kid in front to see if the man was just polite about it.
It's sad really.

Thank you! I love bows too! I'm obsessed with them! I made all of our bows for this trip. I highly recommend the Nutella & Fruit Waffle sandwich, it was heavenly! I'd never heard of it until DisneyFreak508's DCP TR. We were obsessed Rapunzel's tower! Jessica want to go to the tower, we had to explain that we couldn't.

Funnel cakes are delicious but this Nutella sandwich was just amazing! A little hard to eat but still extremely tasty!

Parade Time Baby! Day 2 (Part 5)

After eating our delicious snacks and waiting, the parade finally started!

I thought this parade was longer than it ended up being but we all really enjoyed it regardless.

Once the parade ended, we waited while people left and everyone moved. Jessica and Dad stayed on the sidewalk, they found a nice trash can for Jessica to sit on top of. Mom, Jill and I migrated into Main Street for a nice view of the castle.



I thought this was the funniest thing ever. Jessica wanted to take a picture with Tinkerbell like she had done in the magic shots earlier that day. It was so precious!

Yesterday I accidentally posted this update instead of the Main Street Electrical Parade one so if I confused you I am terribly sorry!

“Wishes! Dream a dream!” Day 2 (Part 6)

At about 9:45, Memories, Magic and Me started. None of us had seen this show before, and personally I loved it!

After this show was over some people started leaving, not knowing that Wishes was a separate thing. One dad was talking with his son who was about six and he didn’t know if they should leave or stay. I was eavesdropping so I told him that Wishes was actually about to start.

Then Wishes! For those of you that don’t know, I’m obsessed with Wishes! It’s probably my favorite thing in Disney World.

Prepare yourself for a surplus of Wishes pictures.


















Finale Video

When Wishes commenced, we head over towards Splash Mountain, we had been talking to Jessica about riding this earlier in the day and she said she would. But as we started approaching it in the dark she said, in a sassy five year old girl voice, “ I am NOT doing that!” Cue another meltdown, not as big as the others but still a meltdown regardless.

Jill really wanted to go on Splash Mountain and we had fastpasses from earlier in the day so we used two of those and headed on over. The wait wasn’t long with the fastpasses but the standby seemed to be moving pretty slow.

After Splash Mountain, Dad decided he was going to head back to the hotel because he was feeling very tired. Us girls decided to stick it out and head over to Tomorrowland.



Our first stop was Buzz Lightyear.



Mom and I rode together and Jessica and Jill rode together.





We were all very into the game, as you can see. I got a 117,000 and mom got a 95,000 I think.



After we battled against the evil Emperor Zurg, we voyaged onward to the PeopleMover!





Jessica really liked both of these rides. She had a lot of fun on both of them.

After a leisurely ride throughout Tomorrowland we decided to retire for the night.

On the way out we stopped in the Main Street Bakery and got a snack for later.

As we made our way out we stopped into Guest Services to leave a comment card about our awesome PhotoPass photographer Jill from Sunrise, FL. And who was the CM who got to write down our amazing words about our new friend Jill? No one other than the not so awesome MK CM from the day before, that was a nice little cherry on top of everything.

After our stop we headed out of the park after our last stop and made our way back to POR. When we got back, I cracked open my cookie. These cookies are another thing that I just love, love, love. Little did I know they changed them a bit and now the Minnie and Mickey one’s are the only normal (vanilla) one’s and the others are all a variation of honey flavor. Ours were honey lemon which I found out when I bit into it. I was a little disappointed.

After a few bites of my cookie, it was time for bed. Jessica did not want to fall asleep, she was being a chatty Kathy. So I told her we were going to play the quite game and whoever talked first lost. Dad tried to get her to talk but she wouldn’t and before I knew it we were both asleep and day two had come to a close.
