A Hundred Acres of Delicious Food! Day 1 (Part 4) I & II

I just developed my sisters pictures from the trip. These are some picture from earlier in the day I thought were cute.

Okay back to reality&
We arrived at Crystal Palace at 3:00 PM and checked in for our 3:20 ADR.
Recently Jessica has become obsessed Pooh and the gang, and originally every time I checked for Crystal Palace ADRs there were none. However, one night a week or so before our trip I couldnt fall asleep so I decided to check, just for giggles, and there it was. A 3:20 PM ADR! It was probably the greatest feeling ever.

So I checked in and within 5 minutes we were being brought to our table. We were seated on the right side in the corner with an amazing castle view.
Jessica was very excited about this meal!

Our server came over, explained to us the buffet and the path of the gang, and took our drink orders. I got lemonade, Dad got Coke, Mom got Arnold Palmer, Jessica got chocolate milk and Jill got Diet Coke.
After our drinks came we all went up to the buffet to grab our first plates.

The cucumber salad and the shrimp were so amazing! And the Mac and cheese was just soooo delicious I couldnt handle it!

I also got a picture with Tigger because Tigger is my favorite but Tigger was being overly foolish and it was getting to a point where it was frustrating. So our picture didn’t turn out well. I was very disappointed.
To be completely honest, something was very off with Tigger. Walking away from our table he was stumbling and crashed right into a table where people were sitting. His CM attendants did not think that was very funny. We all thought he was a like d-r-u-n-k or at least a bit too foolish. I was sad because I had really been looking forward to meeting him.
Mom got Jessica some chicken nuggets. That girl loves herself some chicken nuggets.
Eeyore made his was over to our table next.

After Pooh left us, we ran up for seconds before Piglet would be joining us.

After piglet, I decided I’d grab so desserts!
Yum! I got some apple cobbler, a piece of coconut flan, turtle cheesecake, and lemon custard.
The turtle cheesecake was honestly so phenomenal! And I really like the coconut flan even though it didn’t taste very coconutty at all
Jessica got some ice cream.
She has this thing where she likes to put things in front of her face when I ask to take pictures of her, as you will come to find out.
At about 4:15, we finally headed out. We were all extremely tired so we decided we’d head out and go back to the hotel and rest a little bit. Before we headed out we stopped at Guest Relations to switch our tickets over to the new ones and to double check on the whole adding a day thing.
The CM we had, personally, I did not like, I don’t know there was just something about her, and she just wasn’t very thoughtful or helpful. We asked her about adding one day and she told us that we would have had to do that during the initial fourteen days when I had originally used the ticket. It was very frustrating and she just kept saying how they’re working on fixing it so you can upgrade your ticket even after the fourteen days. I know that it really wasn’t her fault but I was just too mad about the whole situation that I decided I didn’t like her. It was frustrating because all we wanted to do was add a day but nooo we had to buy a separate one day park hopper and it was just a hastle and I felt bad because Mom had to spend the extra money on that ticket and ugh it just wasn’t the highlight of the day.
We did end up switching our tickets to the new ones, this same CM was not making anything magical though. She gave us three Goofy cards and two Donald’s and didn’t even tell us which the child one was. Ugh. Not my favorite CM interaction. But we bought the one day park hopper, switched our tickets over, and Jessica made her first pin trade.

The Crystal Palace is one of my favorite character meals. I love the characters so maybe thats why.
That view is amazing! Great dining seats!
The food there is pretty good. Im really hungry now.
Some cast members really show the Disney magic when some dont. Im glad you fixed the problem but had to spend extra money

I love Crystal Palace, I do the same think check, double check and triple check before I leave for any restaurant's. Every once in a while you get a CM who didn't read the fine print, the customer is always right. Or at least try to help you fix the problem.

That little Jessica is adorable and quite the little diva. It's so neat to watch a kid's first trip to WDW. Also, I think you may have a future Disney princess on your hands there.

We love Crystal Palace and Winnie the Pooh! We loved the food and the view! Even thought the CM wasn't all that helpful we were glad that we were able to work everything out.

Thank you, glad you enjoy it! We've eaten there many times as well, we absolutely love it!Thank you! Glad to have you here! It was pretty hot, we carried around hand fans/water sprayers we got from a Walgreens. It was easy to manage the heat as long as you're not directly in the sun for too, too long. But I think that'd be a great idea, maybe even in August. We usually go in August and September, the lines seem to be shorter and its cooled off a little bit.

Jessica is quite the character I must admit she says/does the funniest things. We have a Canon PowerShot SX130 (12.1 Megapixels). I'm pretty sure it's just a point & shoot camera, it takes really great outdoor pictures! We loved the POR! Really enjoying your report Grace. Congratulations on your graduation!!

Naps for everyone! Day 1 (Part 5)
After we said au revoir to the Magic Kingdom, we headed to the bus stop to hitch a ride back to Riverside. We got to our bus stop and had to wait a few minutes, so I mean obviously we took pictures!
Then Little Miss decided she wanted to be the photographer.

After Jessica was done with feet, the bus arrived and we were en route to Riverside. When we arrived Jill and Jessica headed to the room to change and head to the pool and Mom, Dad and I headed to Luggage Storage to claim our belongings.
After we retrieved our carry-ons, a kind CM gave us a leisurely golf cart ride to our building. We were in Building 18. We were supposed to have a pool view but instead had a preferred room. Nobody was mad.
When we got to the room I took very few pictures.. I apologize, I was tired and grumpy and was just a bad Diser.

I do love how theyve given these rooms a Princess and the Frog theme. However the ugly bass shower curtains definitely need to go.
We got settled into the room, unpacked, and got comfy. I lay down on my bed and went to turn on the TV. To my surprise it wont turn on! NO STACEY!
I wrote in my trip journal This day hasnt been super duper yet, but Im hoping its going to be a good rest of the day.
So I called down and they sent someone right away. Someone came and fixed the TV for me so I could watch Stacey! Thank you kind sir.
Jessica and Jill came back from the pool and shower and then we all laid down for a while and rested. Jessica, Jill and Dad fell asleep but Mom and I did not.
At 6:30 we started getting ready to head back to MK, we didnt want to miss our chance to meet the princesses! We still had those fastpasses and if we didnt get a move on it wed never make it in time! We were out the door by 6:45.
We got the bus stop and waited about ten minutes for a bus and by 7:20 we were back at the Magic Kingdom!
Up Next: The princess meets THE Princesses!

Love those Mickey towels! I dont remember if I ever got those at a hotel. Too bad we are staying of-site this trip.
I like the hotel room. I love The Princess and the Frog so that must be the place for me.
I would of called and asked them to fix the T.V. so I could watch Stacey too.
