Why is BVC so popular??

There have been some very good BCV contracts come up at the TSS this past month! I bought two, and had to refrain from buying more!! Never thought that I would see Aug UY up for resale, but there were a couple available, even with banked points! Wow*

I'm with you, Cinderpals!! I cannot believe all the Aug UY's showing up!! I have looked for those for SOOOO long!! I am just SICK that I don't have any money left to afford them!!! I know I am really lucky to be able to afford any points at all....but, where were these contracts when I was looking??!!!!

We bought BCV, but only stayed at BWV last year. I liked BWV so much, I was thinking we might be selling BCV. But now thanks to Beca, I can't wait to stay at BCV to see what my 'heart' thinks!

While OKW best suits our typical vacationing style on most trips, we often choose BCV simply for the location during F&WF and Flower and Garden. While BWV has a good location too, BCV is the only DVC resort that is literally right beside a park entrance. The location is also perfect for trips when I don't have a car. The pool and theming have never factored into our stays at BCV: For us, SAB is too crowded (I don't have kids) and we prefer the theming of the other DVC resorts.

So that shows how strong that location factor can figure into the equation! Also, I have a feeling that Epcot might be a favorite among DVC members, especially the adults!

Location is why DH and I like BCV. We has wanted VWL, but they were selling BCVs when we bought. We did not 'educate' ourselves very well on the whole DVC thing, and we didn't realize that it really mattered WHERE you bought (since we could use our points anywhere--we didn't realize how important the 7 month window thing would be). WELL, after a visit to VWL and BCV we all decided that we LOVED our home resort! The kids love the pool and DH and I love the location. So we lucked out and ended up with the resort that we liked the most.

We still enjoyed VWL and hope to stay there again sometime, but BCV will probably be where we go the most.

We originally bought OKW points (we have 300) because we really like it there. We could have gotten BWV, but they just didn't appeal to us. Too busy. When they started selling VWL I convinced my husband that we needed to buy some there since we used to live out west and loved going to Yellowstone. So we got 100 there. But my husband said that if they ever sold points for a DVC at the BC, he wanted some from there. He just liked the way it looked and really wanted to stay there. So as soon as the points went on sale there, we bought 100. We had hopped over to SAB several times before they banned pool hopping to SAB. He and our son loved SAB. It holds no appeal to me, but they think it's the best.

Since we have stayed there, we really like it. It's quiet. It's close to Epcot, you can walk over in a few minutes to catch Illuminations. Plus you can park close to the villas.
