HI Mouseketeers! Just a note to introduce myself to the boards (my real name is Bob); I am a Disney afficionado, along with my wife. We just returned from 10 days of Disney bliss, WITHOUT the kids! WOOOOOO!
Anyhoo, I wanted to also take the opportunity to promote my idea for an expansion of the Magic Kingdom. While there, I heard that the MK is composed of 7 themed lands (I thought it was 5, but I guess it's like trying to name the oceans....), so it occurred to me, as such things do, that the perfect expansion would be for Disney to buy the Simpsons franchise, and open a new themed land called Springfield USA. Every store would be themed like a Kwik-e-mart, with Apu behind the counter, and a lovely "thank you, come again" when you leave! The theme ride could be similar to the Simpsons driving game for the Xbox from a few years back.
The possibilities are limitless! Come on folks, jump on this bandwagon!
