Yesterday was a bit of a rough day poor Sami was a bit upset and whiney. I think it is a growth spurt. So I didn't get much done.

Today is not turning into a good day. J is all over the place and not listening so we shall see what happens.

I am making a list of a couple things I want to work on

1. launch skirt applique
2. Sam's Duffy Dress
3. Cut out Js Duffy set
4. SAm Onsie
5. order pixie dust gift

So I have a cute J story from this morning.

If you follow along or a friend on FB you know J is mostly non-verbal. He has ASD and verbal apraxia. Well this morning, I am cleaning the first floor purging and dusting, I had a super hard time while pregnant getting anything done.

Well I turn around J has put on his shoes and socks, we never wear shoes in the house. He then comes and finds me, takes my hand and guides me to the front door (he is telling me we should go out), I felt bad telling him we aren't going anywhere today.

I just love when he does things like this because it shows me that he is in there somewhere.

Thank you. She is rather adorable and thank you it is the small things with J.

I am slowly working on my list. Sami's Duffy dress is completely cut out. I need to work on the ruffle. It should only be about an hour or so worths of assembly but not having a lot of time to work while G is sleeping.

Also hoping to hoop my launch dress skirt panel for its applique today.

Trying to make baby steps today.

I love seeing J interact with the Beast. What a great interaction. You can see the joy in J's face. Everyone in the picture are enjoying themselves. Just another reminder of why I love Disney.

So I finally finished the Duffy dress. I am working on a launch dress today and will post pictures later.


I am going to Michaels this morning on the way to work.

Also want to work on a mini planner for this trip.

I did online check in the other day.

I ended up making one that was supposed to be for a newborn, and I hated all the bulk in the waist. I was afraid it would not be comfortable. Of course, If I had remembered that pattern...

Thanks Nini I love that pattern. I am excited because I am trying to do another version of a tween top with it.

C loves the style and she isn't a super ruffly girl so it works.

Today I am home from work so I am work so I am working on appliques, cutting out shorts for J and onsies I think. I want to start a custom for C but that will have to wait until she wakes up because we need to finalize fabrics. Which is the key to having your almost 12 year old wear customs.They must be part of the entire process.
