Why don't men understand this concept??

I just got back from 4 hours of shopping at a grand opening of a new Kohls store, and boy, did I save money! Lots and lots and lots of money. Now I just know DH is going to come home from work tonight and give me that squinty eyed look as I try to explain, once again , that I saved sssooo much, and to just think of what we can do with all that extra money! We have a trip to WDW coming up, and I'm sure I saved enough for a nice night out at the California Grill.

He just doesn't get it. Must be a male thing.

I wish I knew ! I get to tell my DH how I just spent $75 on $125 worth of Gymboree clothes for DD using my Gymbucks ! I am sure he will be thrilled ! I got a holiday dress, shoes, leggings, shirt, socks and hair accessories for both outfits. I know that is a steal, but he does NOT get it !

Mare, do like I do (or I just learned to do!) Start selling all the stuff you no longer want on ebay! I so love ebay! People will buy just about anything over there. And then with my profits I run out and hit all the sales! (nevermind that the stuff I am buying may very well end up on ebay as well......... )

Oops...guess I should have used more to emphasize that I was kidding, as my DH always understands when I tell him "I saved so much money!"

snoopy, I love ebay too! Only, I've only bought, not sold. I do need to learn to sell tho...meanwhile, I have gotten rid of some household goods at a consignment shop, and I'm always shocked that there are actually people who'd even want what I don't want! Ain't it great?

I was at a grand opening of a Kohl's last night, and saved a bunch too. DS needed a new lightweight coat, and got a $60 coat for $27. Had a lot of fun just looking at all the stuff though.

It's a running joke between us that Mrs. G "never buys anything, unless it's on sale" ....OK..as a He-Goof...I think the difference here dates back to the early years of human history..in which Men were the Hunter's and Women were the gather'ers....I think that gals find it important to "find a deal" on "stuff"....whereas Guys....are more foused on obtaining the 'basic' needes.... Vi ala differerance!

Kohl's is a very dangerous place!!!!

Today my mother, my sister and myself went shopping at Kohl's. Before we went I told my sister that I would go with them but I couldn't buy anything. Between the three of us we bought just over $330 worth of stuff for just under $125!!!!! WOW!!! The only thing we paid full price for was a couple of birthday cards. Everything else with half price or less! My husband was real happy with the shoes he got out of the deal.

I must stay away from Kohl's for a while!!! Boy am I glad that there isn't one in Boone! I would really be in trouble then!
