Why does this happen to even the most determined pin collectors?

I SWORE no way, no how was I going to collect that TDS pin from every state....and the 12 Months of Magic....absolutely not....I am simplifying....focus on only a few types of pins......so tell me this.....WHY did I go into the Disney Store today?????? WHY did I walk out with a handful of pins and over 100 less dollars in my hand??? Is there a cure? A vaccine maybe? I know I am a nurse....but this one has me stumped. Perhaps I should not even try to fight it. SIGH.......what is a girl to do?
Couldn't help but thinking how nice a framed set of the USA state pins would look......and a set of 12 months of Magic Calendar pins.....how cute would that be hanging in my soon to be Pooh kitchen?

Okay.....I know....I am done...I am cooked.....bitten horribley by that darn pin flu.....guess I just have to adjust, huh?

Yes, there is a support group that can help with this very serious problem. I believe that there is a meeting tomorrow morning...however I cant be there. I have to go to Animal Kingdom to get a new coaster pin...

I walked into the store with the intention of getting only 3 pins, the Calendar, the building, and April Fools. But they had the cutest poseable Mickey sitting right there on the counter. He actually whispered in my ear when I tried to ignore him. So of course I had to bring him home. He is sitting on my mantle right now next to my Chocolate Beanie Mickey I got in WDW last month. In a few days they both will go in my Mickeymobile, along with all my other Mickey paraphanelia. I actually bought a red car because all the other colors clashed with Mickey. Peggie

Nicole, I am serious.
When I went to buy my car the colors for the model I wanted were black, dark red, and beige. I did look this info up on the internet because I had planned to decorate my car with my main man. I wanted the black one but they didn't have any on the lot. The beige one had a CD player and was the same price as the red one.
So, of course I bought the red one. Who needs a CD player? If I had one in the car Richie would have had nothing to buy me for Christmas this year. Peggie

OKAY - I WENT INTO THE STORE THINKING THE SAME THING, ONLY GET A FEW PINS. OH COURSE I HAD TO GET TWO OF EACH - ONE FOR ME AND ONE FOR SOMEONE ELSE - HMM.

I WALKED OUT WITH A MICKEY UMBRELLA - LORD KNOWS EVERYONE NEEDS AN EVEN DOZEN OF THESE - AND BOUGHT A SHIRT THAT I ALREADY HAVE - THE LIME GREEN MICKEY SHIRT, JUST BECAUSE NOW IT IS HALF PRICE AND YOU CAN ALWAYS USE TWO.

I MISSED THAT POSABLE MICKEY, BUT NOW THAT PEGGIE HAS MENTIONED IT I PROBABLY WILL NOT SLEEP UNTIL I SEE HIM AND HAVE HIM IN MY POSSESSION.

AND THEN THE CAR THING. HAD TO HAVE BLACK - AND GOT A PT CRUISER BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT LOOKED LIKE A MOUSE.

AND MY PLAN IS TO SOMEHOW ADD EARS SO THAT WHEN YOU STOP THEY WILL COME OUT THE
SIDE OF THE CAR JUST LIKE THE STOP SIGNS ON THE SCHOOL BUSES - AND THEN THEY WILL FOLD BACK IN WHEN YOU START GOING AGAIN.

Wears Disney pins everyday
Front license plate holder from DL
Bacl license plate holder from WDW
Wears Disney clothes
The music in the CD player is always Disney
The videos I watch -- Disney
Drove hours out of the way last weekend to see B&tB on IMAX
Almost all of the 100 McD toys
And on and on and on....
Guess it could be a more harmful addiction.....
I think we have been brainwashed! Do I see a class action suit?!

I always answer, "Some people are addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, smoking, gambling, etc. So my addiction is Disney-it could be worse!"
