Why does the Boardwalk To Go stand take credit cards but not the KTTW cards?

If anyone has ever purchased something to eat at the Boardwalk To Go stand I am sure you have seen that you can pay by cash or credit card, however I am just wondering why don't they accept the KTTW cards as a payment option? I know they are not on the Disney Dining Plan so maybe that's why, however since they are able to accept other credit cards why couldn't they accept the KTTW cards?

Because it's not operated by Disney.

There are still a few third-party-operated venues that won't take KTTW charges.

When did they start taking credit cards? We have eaten here many times at night when kids needed a snack, and they only take cash. It's posted on several signs on the windows of the kiosk.

We knew they were operated by a third party vendor, as I believe it says so on the kiosk, or maybe I read the license that was posted.

At any rate, this is interesting news, as in July, they still only took cash. We don't really carry cash, so it was a problem, as we couldn't eat there as we didn't have enough cash as we were checking out the next morning.

Tiger :)
