Why does MK close early 1/23/17?

I know this has been asked or mentioned awhile back but does anyone know what event is going on that evening at MK that would cause the 6pm closure? Trying to decide if it will be a slow morning as some of the party dates are because of the early closure or if it is something that will draw a huge crowd. We have AP so we could park hop later that evening to another park.

That is the only thing I could think of as well. WOAH $$$$$$$$$$$$. Hope it is not a large group that packs the parks for the entire week. We'll just play it by ear but may hop over there if the ap shows super short wait times in the afternoon or if EPCOT gets packed with people not wanting to leave MK by 6.
