Why does MDE say I have quick service dining?

We bumped up our reservations to add the regular dining plan using the SPD deal, but on MDE it's showing that we have the quick service dining plan. My travel agent made the change for me and said they added the regular dining, and the price I was quoted reflects regular dining, but it's freaking me out that MDE has quick service listed. Any explanation of this?

I don't have an explanation, but we have a similar problem. We have 4 adults on the dining plan. MDE says we have 4 child's plans. I called Disney and they verified that it was correct on our reservation. They said MDE is sometimes inaccurate. That was all they could tell me.

I have noticed that when I make changes to my original reservations, the system seems to hold onto the original info and does not typically update.

If a CM looks it up on their computer, it will show up properly. However, on MDE it doesn't adjust.
I cancelled two ppl off of my package, but in MDE, it still shows them as being part of my package.

My MDE says a different dining plan every time I log in! Seriously- it will say multiple things throughout any given day and most if the time it's not accurate! :) I would call to double check once- just to ease your mind- and then forget about it. Sounds like your having the same issue as many of us and I'm sure it will be fine.

The same thing has been happening to us. I asked a CM about it and all they said was that dining plans were currently not being displayed properly. Sometimes when I log on it says Quick service sometimes it says Table service. I'm not going to worry about it until it's closer to my trip

I just posted this same thing in Theme Parks thread. I signed out and signed back in and it fixed for now. I can't imagine the book of paper that I will be taking with me to prove at a moments notice everything this Magic Band is supposed to read.

I also added MM a month ago and it still has not shown up. :rotfl2: But, they took my money. Boy, that total changed quick enough. :lmao:

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been having the same problem. It's good to know I'm not alone!

Just an update! I contacted my travel agent and he assured me I do have the regular dining plan. He sent me the confirmation from Disney as well so I'm not concerned any more. Gotta love MDE =P

Same thing happened to us two days ago. I called and spoke with a CM on the MDE line, and she informed us that this was a problem they are having system wide. She said that their tech people were working to fix it. She was able to see the correct info on her side. Still, I'm glad we have paper work that proves that we have the regular dining plan instead of the quick serve.:thumbsup2
