Why do you sail concierge?

I'm surprised there's no priority seating. That's a standard benefit for concierge/suite classes on other lines.

It wasn't on Princess, and we were in one of their largest suites. I still had to sit in the back for the show.

I know from experience that NCL and RCCL offers it. I do have to add that the reserved seats aren't the best in the house but they are better than most. What I really liked on RCCL was that concierge guests didn't even need to make reservations for the shows, just show up with your key card and you're in.

DW and I are no frills people. DO NOT really need any of the concierge perks except for TWO that will be carry-overs from our 2015 concierge Dream cruise.

1st) Dinner in our room every evening at the dining table with our personal concierge server. Since we are doing this, the entire tip schedule and then some will go to our server instead of the MDR staff. Fabulously relaxing, quiet and lacking nothing.

2nd) espresso, ESPRESSO, ESPRESSO!!!

Hi, I'm a little confused, my family booked next year 7 day cruise, we have cat v stateroom, I read you can take cd's. video games, board games etc back to your room. Or is that only available to cat t rooms? Thanks.

There are no DVD players or game systems on the Dream Class in T or V, from my experience, because they have Video on Demand. There are board games, and I believe there are iPads you can borrow too, though I usually just bring my AirBook.

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't mention that we are sailing on the Disney magic, so is it the same as the Disney dream. Thanks

There are DVD players on the Dream Class Cat T with the televisions in front of the queen beds and a selection of DVD's with the concierge team.

12004 & 12504 have DVD players.

We won't know for sure if there are DVD players in the room until all of the Category V rooms on the Magic and Wonder are converted.

In room dining is exactly why we booked our next cruise in concierge. Can you please elaborate on the process for me. Did you let shoreside know this was the plan ahead of time, is your server from the MDR or a concierge staff member, did you tip every night or once at the end? Any other input is appreciated :)

Please be aware even if you have dinner in your cabin that the MDR servers are the ones serving you at breakfast and lunch in the MDR or Cabanas. So unless you completely isolate yourself in Concierge and never leave it for ANY food at all, you are punishing servers by removing the standard MDR tips.

There was no DVD player in our Cat T, 12506, in November, 2016. At least none that I saw. I just asked my wife and she thinks there might have been one in the living room, but that was my father's area (he slept on the hide-a-bed) so I can't say for certain.

I think they are part of the TV's so they are hidden ... If I recall correctly.

Still confused, my family is cruising on the Magic next year 7 days out of N.Y. the first time have concierge level stateroom with verandah, do I have to upgrade to 1 bedroom suite if I wanted to bring dvd's, cd's etc. back from the lounge or can I do the same in the stateroom? Thanks to everyone.

In room dining from the MDR is only available in the Cat. T, S and R, the full suites with dining tables. Cat. S and R can also have in room dining from Palo.

I would confirm with Shoreside Concierge and ask them to contact the ship's team to confirm if they do or not. Nothing like getting it from the horse's mouth.
