Ok--I went a searchin' on allears and found this:

In Mexico, a 50- to 60-seat tequila bar replaces a retail shop in the pavilion's spacious indoor courtyard in summer 2007. And the pavilion's waterfront Cantina de San Angel is expanding with more seating with optimal views of World Showcase, and will offer a new menu by summer 2008.

So, I guess it's not up yet???

Interesting. It could very well be up but we didn't venture too much within the whole pavilion. Once we did the Three Caballeros and the Kidcot station, all I got out of it was glancing around. I think the tequila station would be cool without the kiddos ... or maybe with them?

I know--it's sad! But they really enjoy Epcot now--love the shops and food so it's funner that way! Trade offs I guess!

I totally enjoy the kids getting older. I really don't have that "oh, they're growing up, where's my baby?" Not at all. I'm sure one day I'll feel that little tug but I do love that they are able to do so much more. I am totally set in the kid category. No more kids for me EVAH!

Great Update!! I love Mexico. Although I do wonder how many people try on the sombrero's there.
Looking forward to hearing about your adventure's in Norway.

We didn't try them on but I'm sure lots of people did. We have to pick and choose what to show the kids to do ... if you KWIM.

I tried to get pics inside Mexico, but it was way too dark.

Can't wait to hear about Maelstrom. I can't remember the last time we rode that - it's been a while.

Thanks! I probably could have set my camera on a different shutter speed but that's just too much to deal with when we are trying to get to the next thing. Some day I'll have more time to adjust things like that. Now it's just point, click, and hope!

This coming week Rob is on vacation ... that means I am on vacation too . The boys have tomorrow and Tuesday off from school and we have plans for both days. On Friday is my brother's wedding rehearsal/dinner and Saturday is the wedding. So, we will be pretty busy during the week. I will definitely have an update tomorrow for you all but I can't guarantee any updates after that, at least for this week. If I get a chance to write up the next updates, I will. I just want to give you a heads up for this week. So, late tomorrow morning I'll post the next update on Norway!

Thank you everyone who is still reading along. I really am amazed at how many people are reading and enjoying (I hope) my TR. You have all made me feel really good about writing this TR. I feel like I've come a long way in my writing skills. Learned a little from the greats out there. And I'm not naming any names! I feel like a million bucks right here on the DIS! Just wish I were worth it ...

When I said Rob was on vacation I meant that he was off from work this week. We have no real big plans as we didn't want to take the kids out of school. Evan is being referred for some special education now. He is having problems with reading comprehension. Today Alec has a dentist appointment. We have our cable/phone people coming out to move the modem they stupidly placed on our duct work in our basement. Idiots. Then we're going to Critz Farms which is a pumpkin farm with corn mazes, petting zoo, musical entertainment, crap like that.

Oh, to answer your question, yes, Rob will be here for the wedding.

And it was time for the high seas adventure of Maelstrom!

As I’ve said before, we really like this ride. There is just something so cool when you first start off and see that shining eye, “You are not de first to pass dis vay, nor shall ye be de last.” ... that said in my best Norwegian accent. Didn’t know I was so limber in the tongue, eh? Okay, no comments there, please. I see where that one could possibly go. Or maybe comments may be funny ... comment away!

The standby line said something like 40 minutes. Are these people nuts? Gotta get them fast passes baby!

After our scare with the trolls and the giant polar bear, we were finally safe in a small Norwegian village. The movie was not running that night and we were not disappointed. We planned on skipping right through it anyway.

Our next mission was to find the Kidcot station. And we found it. When I took this picture, I was thinking at the time what a cute guy. But when I got home and really looked, not so much. Well, maybe a little cute. I like the blonde spiky hair. He is holding Brookie's mask, so take a look ...

And whilst in the Puffin Roost Evan and Brookie just loved this giant troll. Alec could have cared less. So, we took this pic of just Evan and Brookie. We all look at it now and it looks like Evan is a big booger! Sa-weet.

Finally, we thought Brookie looked good as a blonde Viking. What do you think?

After being all Norway’d out, we made our way to China ...
