I love the Mexico Pavilion too!!! It's got such great ambiance with the darkness and low lighting! The boat ride with the three cabelleros is pretty good too! Looking forward to reading about your Norway adventure

Brookie and I made the long walk to Mexico. Okay, it took all of 4 minutes. No sign of Rob. I thought better than to go on past Mexico. So, I found yet another bench to plop down on. And we sat there. And waited yet again.

Now of course, I would have made good use of that waiting time by having a frozen MARGARITA in Mexico! What were you thinking, DM?! Wasting a perfect opportunity!!

I keept seeing bad reviews for San Angel. Rob & I went there back in 1996 and didn't care for it then. But that was a long time ago and before kids.

"Long time ago and before kid", we loved San Angel. Next two times, LOUSY. We had a much better meal our first day at lunch outside at the Cantina. Oh.. did I mention the margaritas?!

We didn't get as many as we wanted to but still glad we got what we got.

me too. i only got 28 photopass pics on the last trip. i still like them. next time I will hunt them down.

We only got 20 something too. But after I added all the graphics and edited we wound up with over 100. But the price for the CD was a much better option than buying pictures outright.

I think that should be one of your tests this time. Try to go to the Kidcot stations and do get mask/stamps!!! That would be interesting. Do you think they will tell you no?

We all climbed the stairs and entered the Mexico pavilion. I love it in there. The atmosphere is so awesome. I tried to capture that atmosphere but pictures don’t do it justice ...

What do you do with your pressed pennies? We have never done that.

We bought a pressed penny holder in Disney World and keep them in there. We didn't get too many pennies. We pretty much got them whenever we saw a machine and the kids needed a diversion.

Yes, Brookie was not too cooperative with the Photopass pictures. But you have to see when we take pictures of her. She is all smiles. In fact, she tells me how she is going to pose and tells me to take her picture!

Ok--I went a searchin' on allears and found this:

In Mexico, a 50- to 60-seat tequila bar replaces a retail shop in the pavilion's spacious indoor courtyard in summer 2007. And the pavilion's waterfront Cantina de San Angel is expanding with more seating with optimal views of World Showcase, and will offer a new menu by summer 2008.

So, I guess it's not up yet???

I tried to get pics inside Mexico, but it was way too dark.
