First my Nesquik and now my Rice Chex. Can't a grown man enjoy some chocolate milk and cold cereal? I wish I wouldn't have to worry about my favorite foods becoming new and improved.

I don't get the new Nesquik either. It is too chunky and doesn't dissolve well. I also hate it when they change the packaging on products so I can't easily find them on the shelves! They changed the label on my refried beans and I had a fit. I need predictability in my life.

I am the same way, I can't stand the small changes in life. Like it could throw my whole day off. :headache:

At the same time, I love big life changes . . . I am weird.

what happened to nesquick and rice chex? I havent had either in a while.

I can't tell you a thing about Rice Chex but do you remember that Nesquik used to be very powdery? Now it is more like that nasty Ovaltine stuff. Kind of grainy and mealy. If you stir the crap out of it it will eventually dissolve. The taste is close but the texture is weird.

If they EVER touch regular OREOS I swear ...I dunno what I will do! They cant hold me responsible!:cool2:

Wow! I didn't know you were a man.

Gee whiz...never noticed that. totally types like girl.

See, I told you.:lmao: :rotfl2:

My gripe is with diet 7-UP. They changed the can to say new taste with more lemon/lime flavor, but at the same time also stopped printing on the can that it was sweetened with Splenda. Apparently they have gone back to using Aspartame.:sad2: We're on vacation at the beach and got a couple of cases and I noticed they are the old ones with Splenda. I want to go back and buy up all of them.

:headache: I am still peeved at Helen of Troy for changing the formula of SeaBreeze:headache: I have been using it since I was a teen, and they had to change the formula!:confused3 :headache:

 SeaBreeze was introduced in 1973, young lady.:rotfl:

A long time ago Campbell's changed the formula for its tomato soup. (Years ago, it used to look a little more orange-y and was one clump coming out of the can. Now it is redder and more or less pours out of the can.)

My grandma used to make a dish that she called "Noodles and Hamburg," which was basically noodles, cooked ground beef, Campbell's tomato soup, and basil. There are 6 living children and 33 grandchildren, and no one can make Noodles and Hamburg like Grandma. And I am convinced that no one ever will since Campbell's makes it tomato soup differently, and even if someone gets every ingredient and proportion right, it will never taste exactly right.

Even tomato soup and grilled cheese just isn't the same...:sad2:

I was so upset after you posted about the Nesquick, I couldn't post about it. I swore you had to be wrong! But no, I checked our Nesquick and did change! Nesquick is a staple in our house and I hadn't even noticed! But I can only have it once in a while now, since I'm older. :rolleyes1 But now I don't even want it! What did they do to the Rice Chex?

naaah...it's been around longer than that. It used to be in a clear and black bottle. It used to smell real bad. I will call my sister, she is a food historian but knows about all that other stuff.

My husband's complaining about how they've changed Honeycomb and Sugar Pops. If they ever change Cap'n Crunch he'll never get over it.

The Campbell's healthy request is more like the old soup. They took the fat out of the regular mix, but the healthy one still has fat in it. :confused3

Thank you! That is VERY good to know. I definitely will have to give it a try. :)

You sound cranky, ox. :guilty:

I'm gonna give you an Aunt Polly inspired

Now - go drink your Nesquick and eat your Chex!:thumbsup2

I'm with you on this. I am so sick of them changing foods especially to make them healther! Do you think I am ordering a Big Mac and Fries because I want to get healthy?! No way! I want a little break form all the other naturally healthy stuff I do eat. Just because you can't stop your kids from eating it everyday doesn't mean I need to get the diet version. I do not like the new oil they use on their fries. It tastes weird. I just feel like if I want to eat junk then I should be able to without the government saying it has to be healthy junk. JMHO.
