Why Do They Keep Asking

There was a recent report from a poster on the basic dining plan who paid a $5.95 upcharge for the Night in Casablanca.

The same poster reported that there was also an upcharge for the Taste of Morocco, but since they didn't order it they did not know the amount.

It would make sense that a one-credit DDP restaurant would charge extra for a menu item that included appetizers and cost over $40.

I have to say be fairly new to the boards, I have found that some people can behave very UNmouse-like. I thought the purpose of the place was to help each other and not post questions about what you perceive to be "stupid" or "unworthy" questions for other Disers. It just doesn't seem very nice or in the spirit of everyones favorite place.:sad2:

Maybe we can be a bit kinder to each other, or at best keep the not so nice stuff to ourselves.:thumbsup2

I never said or thought of a question being "Stupid or Unworthy" or meant to be not nice. Even though I do feel your interpretation of this thread seems to be just that. people placeing negative labels on questions or posts is sometimes when disers are not nice to each other in my opinion lol. hopefully you read the whole post or at least my second post to better understand my question.

I new some poeple wouldn't understand my question and would be mad or get defensiveor whateverish. Its just a question and I wasn't mad at anyone. but thankyou for getting emotional about it. The reason for the start of this is because of the large amounts of threads to which people have asked is this entree covered,( I understand snacks, drinks , anything other than an entree) and I have never seen one that says its not. now one person said that people are lazy and don't want to read stickys or the 1000 other threads and such, that might be true. But what gets me is alot of the things people ask "is this covered" are being taken off menus. steaks crab legs filets and others! I wish someone would ask about places and food we don't like to see if they would take those off the menu... someone said that people wanted to make sure the more expensive items are included in the ddp... well they are as long as they are printed on the menus.

because of this thread I have found there to be so far no single entree by itself to not be covered on the DDP but a combo meals including a entree/app that might not be covered or possibly require an upcharge while on the ddp.

Sorry once again if someone miss understood my original post!

Beauty is truth , truth beauty! :thumbsup2
