The DL calendar is available through January 2010 right now but there are no hours or anything else really listed for that matter! We are going at the end of Novemeber, which is not that far away and I have no idea about hours or closures or anything!

Ok, rant done :lmao:

We are so excited to go and really want to get our plans together but we need to know this stuff.

You are going again?!?! Okay this is me very jealous-

Didn't you say you needed a nanny to go with you? ;) But yeah that is ridiculous, that is basically a month away! I hope they post it soon for you.

Yes, can't wait! We are going for the week after Thanksgiving. Trying to get one last trip in before the AP's expire. I called to make PS reservations for a character breakfast and the guy was able to give me hours over the phone and confirm that the CM party is the 7th and 8th but didn't really have any other info.

EXACTLY!

WDW's calendar is posted until the end of January 2010. I understand not knowing exactly how refurbishments or entertainment is going to line up exactly, but come on! At least post the park hours!!!

I totally agree. They know what they are doing so why don't they let us.
I know there is not as much planning needed for DL as for WDW. But when planning a trip there is nothing worse the going the day after your favorite ride closes, and knowing you could have adjusted your days.

I feel your pain. We leave November 30th, and I'm getting a bit frustrated that nothing has been posted to their calendar.

I wondered the exact same thing...why do they even have it?

I feel your pain when we went in May I stalked that dang calander to see what was going on and what we be closed so that I could plan for our trip. I have four girls we don't just do things we plan things to do!! Besided it helps to get really excited or to prepare for great sadness when they close Mommys favorite ride ever and break her little heart!!! (Peter Pan!) :rotfl2:

I was just coming on here to post the same rant. We are going in December and I want to start planning. It is so frustrating that they take so long to get the calendar out! Even knowing the hours would be nice. Here's hoping they have the calendar out soon so I can start the fun of planning. *crossing fingers*

I kind of agree, it is frustrating. However I disagree with a pp who said that they know what to expect, or know what they're doing. This past year with the birthday program and record APs have left the crowd levels to be nearly unpredictable. This month they have kept the park open later each night. They weren't expecting crowds this heavy. So I'm sure they're really trying to make sure they believe they have a pretty good idea about the crowds before they post hours. I'm not taking Disney's side completely, I am an avid planner myself, however...I do see where they are coming from.

Disneyland updates the calenders 6 weeks in advance. Unlike WDW, the calenders are almost universally equivalent year-over-year. Just look at last years. And Disneyland is always open until Midnight on FrSa and almost always open until midnight on Sundays.

Always check the calendars right before you leave. On our trip last month they decided a week before that they would open an hour earlier on Saturday than previously posted. Maybe that's why the park was so dead that morning?
