Why do people have to park next to you?

When this situation happens to me, I turn around and ask the person to please step back and give me some personal space. It seems to do the trick.

Yeah I think I will have to muster up the courage to do that ......I was also thinking that I might just not bathe for a few days before any trip to Walmart that seems to be the place it happens most often.
