We also gave her a slightly more common name as a middle name, so she could use it or a derivative of it later in life if she chose to do so (and "Kathryn" has plenty of derivatives to choose from).
Can't see naming a kid "Espn", but that's just personal preference. Personally, I like it better than many of the more "common" names out there, just as I like "Elora" better than "Brittany", "Ashley", or "Savannah" or any other "names-of-the-'90's".
Tell me this kid is not going to get beat up because his parents named him ESPN.
