Why do Americans get to buy all the fun stuff online?

I am getting frustrated because evertime I find something cool online I would like to order, it always ends up that they won't ship to Canada. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise because it curbs my shopping habit, but it is annoying when I do find something I really like.

Anyway, for those of you who are American, I found these cool fibre optic bouquets on the Avon website today and thought they might work well for a throw-away or wedding bouquet. I have found one on e-bay so I may still be able to get myself one, it will just cost a little more. At least the Canadian dollar has been going up the last week or so.

I also found some cute mickey flip-flops on the Avon website. I hate wearing flip-flops, but I know there is a lot of you out there who enjoy them. These even have a mickey head cut-out on the straps.

I saw them in the Avon book...find a local rep and order them!! $29.99 CDN, no shipping!

I do agree...it does suck not being able to get shipping to Canada...especially the disney store. (well we can get it for an arm and a leg!)

I feel you - I'm from the UK and there are a TON of cool stuff on the Disney USA website that is on sale right now and I can't get it - well not unless I pay $27 delivery which is double the item!

Yes I agree here in the uk its terrible, We were looking at the customised m&m's but they dont ship to the UK.

America has so much cool stuff on thier sites that dont ship to us and its so much cheaper than over here

I agree...there are a lot of us around...and in central fl...you can always ship them to us and we can drop them off when you check in or at Franks

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and ordered the bouquet of ebay. I use ebay a lot if I find something I like but can't get it shipped here. I usually have no problem finding things on ebay.

On the upside, I just found out today that because I am a Canadian bride, I get the high res CD of my wedding photos included in my intimate photo package. I was considering switching to Randy because I had read the high res cd would be $1000 more. I have now decided to stick with Disney photography because this is no longer an issue.
