hey op..im from jersey also (bergen county) we just recently came home from a 2 week road trip to see his family in fort walton beach, east of destin and panama city. granted its not orlando but man is it beautiful there
we had the chance to move here about 4 years ago for a job opportunity and didnt take it because when i told my parents we were leaving my mom pretty much had a breakdown-" how could you take the granddaughters away from me blah blah blah..guilt was too much for me so my hubby never took it. fast forward 4 years.. same opportunity comes up , gets a better offer which wont be available for a year or so but here we are again struggling with the decision..we love it to vacation but what will it be like to live? one thing i did love about down there is not having the traffic and congestion for up here driving there is actually pleasurable. has anyone been in this situation? leaving family behind? hubby has about 40 family members down there and a few friends..i would be leaving my parents and brother behind..

Our house is like a hotel. My in laws come every Thanksgiving & my parents/brother every Christmas.
