Let me first say that this is not a recent change (at least I don't think so anyways lol) and was surprised to find a picture of the kiddie pool at pop that looked different from our experience this past January.

One thing I always loved about Pop was the zero-entry kiddie pool and fountains... and was surprised to find this picture when doing some research for future trips:

This is what I found on allears.net:

And this is what I experienced on my trip:

(second picture down)

I do prefer the new pool as it is now, but was curious as to why they changed it and when they did it! With PC being so new I wasn't expecting that...

Any insight would be great...

It looks like they have added the yellow covers over the water jets. Not sure why they have made the change unless there was a problem with the water shooting out to hard for the little ones??

I don't understand. They are the same.

The first picture (which I think is older) shows yellow sprinkler covers with more of a water sprinkler effect...

The second picture has more of a pop-jet fountain that shoots up directly from the water which is much wider and stronger... no yellow coverings either...

I am thinking the water was too much for little ones?? I think my little ones will prefer the lower jets.

I think the yellow covers are the old photo, no?

We were there in October and January and it was as the OP experienced, pop jet type sprinklers with no covers.
