Why did MS close early yesterday?

Somewhere I read that everyone in MS was required to attend a meeting that started at 3:30.

Yeah their message said a special event. I was kinda annoyed to tell you the truth. The hours are limited enough they couldn't hold the meeting after hours?

Well to be honest if my boss told me I had a mandatory meeting after hours I'd be pretty upset. Don't forget the CM's have a life outside of WDW.

I can understand why those calling MS would be frustrated. The only way I can see both members and employees happy was if they had two meetings during regular work hours and keep half the staff available each time. Hopefully whatever it was about was urgent.
