Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

I linked my sister and her family to my MDE. I can add her to my FP but not her family. Guess they will have to be added on my 60 day mark.

I called about the app showing one guest. It's a glitch that is fixed. We should see it fixed on the next update of MDE.

I didn't mention anything about early booking . Just about how the app shows 1 guest, until you click it and it shows your whole party.

Glad I ran across this thread. I had been sweating making FPs coming up Tuesday the 12th for our stay in May because we always miss out on FoP and SDD. I hopped online this morning and I was able to book all 9 days we are staying in May. Probably some of the best selections we have ever gotten. Also I was glad to get ToT since it will have one side shut down for renovations. All 5 of us have APs.

How early is the glitch window opening? Is it 14 days? 15 days? My FP date is March 25 (14 days from now) and I don't see an option to make FPs early. I checked through the app and the website. All 4 of us have AP vouchers.

I was able to start making FP 14 days ahead with rolling window opening up One day at a time. It takes me multiple attempts on the app to get the open May window. Takes at least 30 minutes and often longer to get my 3 for the day. I keep at it though because I took the 14th off as vacation day so I could make FP but now I plan to cancel it and save that day. I do hope all my FP are still there when my window officially opens on Thursday. I have all my days booked except the last one May 24 which should be available tomorrow.

It’s been reported open at 75 and 74 days prior to a legit resort check-in date.

There’s no set info on what resorts are triggering this open, rolling window.

My 60 day window opened this morning, all FP reservations made 2 weeks ago are still in tact.

Also was able to modify a FP without any issues.

My 60 day window was this past Wednesday but I was able to book everything for all 5 park days last weekend with this method. It took a lot of time and effort but it was worth it to me to be able to get everything I wanted, and at the times I wanted them.

I was even able to modify the times on my selections before Wednesday. I had a few I wanted to adjust by 5 or 10 minutes. It's more or less the same process. You will usually get an error message when you try to change the time. You just have to keep trying, backing in and out of the app, until it accepts it.

my 60 opened yesterday, and all the fastpasses I had made prior are intact!

Yah it's pretty awesome!!! I have all my fast passess 9am, 10am, 11am. which is perfect because then you can start using new fast passes early.

It’s working for guests with old MYW tickets, date-based tickets, and APs. It’s also given extended booking windows to tickets that have window restrictions.

I do not have APs. I am checking into POFQ 5/12. My FP date was 3/13. I was able to book all FP on 3/7

I don't know if it made any difference or not, but I did complete online check-in before I was able to book fastpasses early.

I am staying at POR, and today is 74 days. I completed online check-in, but have not had any success with fast passes yet.
