Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

Tried both, didn't work.. However the day after tomorrow is 60 days and availability still looks great.

My FastPass slot is for next Wednesday. Out of curiosity I just tried and was able to book FOP and expedition. Now it won’t let me do anything else but they’re still showing up. So does it seem like they’ll stay in there?

I'll be interested to see what happens when mine come up in May for my July stay. It should be May 19, but I connected to a friend for planning a meal together and she is coming in 5 days before me. Now on MDE on the website it says I can book my FP+ starting May 14.

Obviously I am fully expecting 5/19, BUT you can bet I will be checking at 7am May 14 just in case!

But she never posted again with any other details when posters asked for specifics.

Some people have more than one account linked to their email and FPs can end up lost in the system.

I wondered if she never got the confirm page. Mine would look like it went through at first and take me back to the home page after I select the ride but I realized if you never got to the confirm page it didn't actually go through.

I got the email of "your FPs will be deleted tomorrow" last week, but they're still all there. My 60 days is tomorrow.

My 60 window opened this morning for the balance of my stay (split 1 + 10 days). All the FPs I booked in the past were maintained without any cancellations.

It’s been noted elsewhere that most problems are user error...either with multiple accounts or not understanding how to complete a FP.

I was able to do it for my dd and her friend today, at 74 days, for their first day. Took some effort, but it worked.

I was never able to do mine early. Granted I checked maybe two or three times only. I have both one day tickets (bought before they went to date based) and (non activated) APs on my account. I have a bunch of reservations as we have several trips planned this year. I was only trying to book May 4. I actually have a split because my original flight got cancelled so we have to come in the night before and I had to book a separate resort ressie. On Sunday, May 2 and 3 opened. On Monday the rest of my stay opened.

My actual date is March 13th for my 60 day window. I was able to book all fast passes today with no issue

Tomorrow is my 60 day mark. I have 6 day pass .I'm going to cancel my last day fp's and book to see if it will show (shows 1 person when you get into your fast pass section, 4 people when you click the actual fast pass) glitch.
If it the same I'll keep my first few days with the hard to get fast passes. And try and work backwards.
Im afraid I might lose them hahah

There is literally no reason to try to do this. If you have the fastpasses booked and they show correctly when you click on them, you're totally fine.

Yah true. I was just curious though. I just cancelled a non important one, rebooked it. Still shows the same. So we are all good!
