Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

I had no problems booking for two minors that are managed by their parents when I did fastpasses for our group. If you're linked, it shouldn't be a problem.

We’re definitely linked, but for whatever reason, I couldn’t do it. I did notice this morning it would let me modify a fp that included him, so I have no clue.

I only changed the times for 2 with the modify option on my MDE without an issue. No glitching. I did not check availability for any other fastpasses.

I just checked different times for my headliners... 7DMT 60+1; SDD 60+4; FOP 60+5 all still have times available

I have a one night reservation for 5/16, and 2 day date specific park hoppers starting 5/16. We are 73 days away, and I was able to book fastpasses today for both park days. My fastpass day was supposed to be 3/17. They are showing up in the app and I can modify them, so we'll see what happens! I wasn't expecting to be able to get SDD with only 2 days, so this will be a big bonus if they remain.

Any word on whether the glitch is fixed? My 60 days window opens this Saturday, and was not able to book earlier. However, availability still looks great for my 60 days and onward.

I was able to book May 18. I am 74 days out. I can't do anything before or beyond that so I think, as of now, I am on a 74 day rolling window.

I am at 61 days out now. All my FPs have remained, without any cancellations.

Ever since this thread started, I have been checking to see if I could make FP for my May 11-18 stay at the Poly. No luck until this morning, when I made all my FP for the week, with our APs. We have a split stay, ending our trip May 18-21 at the Doubletree Suites. My reservation is linked, but can't make FP for that part of the stay yet. No matter, though, because I have everything we want for the previous week

I was able to book early for my may 4-10 trip. My window opened this morning and all the passes I booked are still in my account.
I had trouble with the app and website this morning and could not book any new fast passes or modify the ones I had at 7 am this morning.

Went in to just fool around and was able to make FastPass reservations. They are showing up on my MDX even an hour later.

Is this typical?

Yes if you have a certain type or ticket linked with your reservation. I have an AP and reservation and I was able to do ours last week and we are arriving on the 9th of May.

My FP date was suppose to be 3/16 for a 5//15 arrival. I checked at 75 days when I read it was being glitchy and I could book my first day. I’ve been rolling forward by one day, every day. It’s VERY glitchy . I have to keep refreshing over and over again to even bring me to my May dates. Then once I get there sometimes I can book other times I book and then it won’t confirm and I have to start the whole process all over again. I have been able to modify my times as well. Which actually seems to less glitchy then the initial booking.

I was able to book all of my May dates on the rolling 75. It was glitchy some days on the app but never on Safari. Today is the official 60+ on the first of a three resort split stay and all FP remain booked for my entire trip. The biggest glitch I see even in Safari is that it let me boook FP for my last day even though my AP expires the day before. I am not planning to renew and I have no other tickets linked to me.

No, it’s not typical. It’s a glitch that’s allowing this. No one knows how widespread it is.

Just checked on the website(safari) and it’s showing my dates. This is a first on the website. I didn’t even have to refresh. All days after the 30 days and before my FP dates are still blacked out.
All my fast passes are still intact as well.

So far I was able to book one FP for May 18 which I booked last night. I get to various places in the process each time I try but haven’t been able to book anything else yet.

But I’m persistent so I will just keep trying until my window officially opens.

I did all of mine for a 7 day trip over the coarse of 5 days. It took a lot of time. I would have to refresh 10-15 times if I could get it to work at all, then I could only get it for one guest then go through it all again to add people to it. Then modify times to get the actual time I wanted. Each step would take multiple tries. I could only ever get it to work on the app. Sometimes I would have to wait a few hours and try again. Overall I had to have spent 10 hours or so to get everything something I could have done 1-2 hours if I had waited until my official day and there was no glitching.

After persistence I finished this weekend and my official 60 day is Friday. So far all are there exactly as I had them. None have disappeared so I think they are all set. I don't see how they could go away. They even show up on my mom's account since she is going with us.

Is it a dumb idea to call Disney tech and say "its only showing one person, not all of my people" on my 60 day. That's a common glitch...just to see what it shows on their side?
