OMG! I wish we had booked for Halloween instead. Should I change our Feb birthday booking for Halloween instead? Downgrading to SL or even Cheyenne from DLH and only going for 3 nights?

I can get cheap enough flights. But can't get a hotel & tickets low enough for us to justify an extra trip.

What is the CHEAPEST we can do hotel & tickets pref onsite or one of the partner hotels? 2 or 3 nights 26th for 3 nights/27th for 2nights?

I want to go so badly!!!!

Thinking the same :wave2: For our "virtual trip" looking at Hipark or Realais Spa in Val D'Europe, Disney hotels are very expensive :crazy2: Would you fly Easyjet from Edinburgh? We are from north east too! February is a lot cheaper and from experience october is very busy :hyper::maleficen

okay - Halloween season is fabulous at DLP - however, the last week of October will be a very busy one at DLP, as all French schools, as well as most European ones, will be on holiday then.

Christmas season, in my opinion, is even more wonderful at DLP - can you maybe go then (the prices are always better in winter season compared with October too).

I have been looking at Kyriad and flying from Glasgow - that is affordable at onlt £550. However, we would need to buy 3 annual passes which is what is making it unaffordable!

I am a huge Maleficent and Villains fan, and in our house Halloween is almost as important as Christmas - so we are desperate to go, we should have thought about it earlier.

But Feb is for Rosebug's birthday, and that makes it so special!

Thanks! Halloween is our favourite season, Rosebug is already planning her costume and is currently sitting next to me at the table painting Zombie pictures; making a zombie butterfly and she has already finished a zombie Snow White plaster cast!! See the theme?! So for us, I think Halloween would be THE season (I want to meet Maleficent and Jack & Sally!)

There is NO chance of us going at Christmas - I can obviously only go in Christmas school holidays and hubby isn't allowed to take time off from mid-December! :( We did look for this Christmas as he only needed one day off to give us a 3 day break at the start of the hols, and it was affordable but they refused to authorise his one day until the week before! :furious:

Just a thought if you need Ap this site may still have a few cheap kids Aps
http://www.discount-ticket-store.com/
If you did go you could take DH off the feb booking and add him a check in with his ap.
I'm looking forward to our trip even though it's going to be super busy Halloween looks great :)

Off to work now will watch out for more updates on this ;)

If you wanted to do both you could get annual passes and change your Feb booking to 1 adult to save money there or look at a cheaper disney hotel for both to offset cost of DLH. Or just you and your daughter go for Halloween if too many trips for DH. There is always a way :rotfl2:
I'd been looking at Edinburgh flights - are Glasgow cheaper or better times? I'll have a look :thumbsup2

There are NEVER too many trips for DH! He is DLP obsessed!

We have found Glasgow prices cheaper, going out times better but coming back times earlier (but this is better for us to drive home!)

It's so tempting - I'm trying not to go back until 2017 and have to really refrain from pricing trips up! :scared:

Go on - you know you want to! ;)

I'm getting excited about our trip too, although I was hoping that Liam would've opted for a christmas trip at first, Halloween press release and all the Maleficent stuff looks fab, I hadn't even thought about how with the film might make her a popular choice for Halloween and I'm her number one fan.LOL

Just had a bit of a playaround with your dates and

Travel Republic can do Kyriad from Mon 27th - Wed 29th B&B for £179.00 2 adults, 2 children and flights for £232.00 with easy jet.

although I'd be more inclined to go for the Sunday flight arrive Sunday evening depart Wed 29th £239.00 and Kyriad through TR £267.00

What about buying tickets instead of AP's although checking your dates you could get away with Fantasy passes no blockouts between 27th and 29th.

Not that I'm trying to encourage you or anything ;)

I'm just catching up on here and have just read the Halloween stuff too - so glad we decided on going this year :cool1::cool1:

Our last halloween visit was quiet as our school holidays are w/c 12/10 so mid-week the parks are usually very sparse.

Hope you get something worked out - it's a really lovely time to visit :thumbsup2
