Is today mean Saturday??
How is all this your SIL's fault?Because they really, really want it. And maybe they could pick up a pie on the way?bananiem said:You left it there, your dh didn't pick it up, your sil put it in the other car so it wouldn't take up her trunk space. Sorry, but I don't see why they should have had to bring it to you.

At this point I think the only option available might be to hold my breath until I turned blue?

Let me make it clear- a phone call saying "Hey come get your stroller cause I'm handing it over to sis who is borrowing my car" That is all I expected- not too much of a big deal, is it??. Now my DH does return things to people and does drive to their house so maybe that is why I expected the same. I never said I'm mad because they didn;t chauffer my stroller to me- I just wanted a heads up that my stroller was being juggled along. Mind you that night as we were leaving BIL came outt to give us another sister's bag that she forgot and we delivered it to her on our way home. Oh and DH never made it there beacause he was working late.
And please remind me to never vent here again!
Sorry. The people you need to be mad at is yourselves.3DisneyBuggs said:I always tell DH when it comes to us none of them really care. LAst week we were at BIL's pool and we left DS's stroller there. DH was supposed to pick it up this week since we're going away tomorrow but never made it. Today he calls BIL. The stroller was in his car, which SIL borrowed cause hers broke down. SIL knows the stroller is in the car but somehow puts it in the car that is broken. She was supposed to put it in her garage. So my $250.00 stroller is now at a Volvo dealership which is closed on Saturdays. Now we have to bring the spare Graco which is huge and will take up most of the trunk space. This now means instead of the minivan we will have to take DH's Ram. It really bothers me because I get motion sick in the Ram for some reason. The drive is only 2 hours but the kids won;t have their DVD player. And I wanted to see how my minivan does on the highway MPG wise. All it would have taken was a simple phone call or a trip to our house! Gasp!
I think it was a mistake just like you made by leaving it. Maybe we are missing the mean intentions of your inlaws. There were several oopsies in this story. Hope your survive your weekend in the truck.ITA...that's exactly what came to mind when I read it...MushyMushy said:How can you say they don't care? You're close enough to them to go swimming at their house, so obviously there is some care there.
Many of us have families who truly don't care about our well-being.
